[Rewarded Review] Velvety Amber

This is a warm, cozy fragrance which I enjoy, but it's just not my favorite. If you like velvety amber with a touch of sandalwood and sweet vanilla, then this is for you. Since I am not a fan of vanilla in the slightest, the fact that I can pick up the vanilla is the reason why I gave this one 4 stars.

I purchased this candle honestly, because of the boho design. Then, I smelled the fragrance, and I knew I had to have it This candle is both gorgeous and it smells very good. I light it then place it in various places in my home even after I've turned out the flame the fragrance lingers.

[Rewarded Review] Baltic Amber 3 wick tin candle

I received this candle a year ago as a gift and loved it! The fragrance was very pleasant. I burned it all of the time. So I decided to order myself a new one. The fragrance is not as strong as my original one. I still burn it but I'm kind of disappointed.

Delightful

I am picky about fragrances and to my knowledge I have never liked a scent with top notes of amber and sandalwood. And I am also not a huge fan of vanilla as a scent (except for baked goods). So I was floored when I liked this candle enough to buy it today at my local store. What I liked about it was that it was blended so that all of those combined into a warm, relaxing and refreshing scent. Perfect for winter.

Barely any scent

First, I don't detect any cade or verbena, per the scent notes, only lightly sweetened lavender, which even a very low-end candle can offer. It has little cold throw, and just very slight hot throw, so light that you go nose-blind to it within minutes. Voluspa used to have the BEST candles, but clearly something has changed. Of the seven Voluspa candles I recently purchased from Nordstrom, all but this one is going back, and really, even this one isn't what it's touted to be.

Very slight, undescrible fragrance.

This is a little costly but candles seem to be exorbitant these days so I'm pleased to get a lovely tin with 3 wicks and a fragrance. Unfortunately the fragrance is very faint and I worry that when the recipients burn it there will be little perfume. Wish I could have smell-tested all the choices in this line before purchasing because the written descriptions of the fragrances are so esoteric as to give one no idea of what they smell like.

[Rewarded Review] All time favorite

My first Voluspa purchase was the 3 wick Baltic Amber tin, back in 2010. I'm still buying it for myself, and other people - men and women. It is now their favorite, too. It scents a room even without burning it. The lid can be difficult to get off, but there is something unique and exotic that the tin adds to my decor. The low open shape burns nicely.

I recently bought this candle and this is my first time trying Voluspa candles. there are no stores around this area that I could have try the scents, so I was going by people's reviews. I never had to change to smell it in person, so I bought this along with 3 other scents. I can can say that I absolutely love the scent. its a sophisticated scent. the kind you get from going to a high-end store or a high star hotel.

[Rewarded Review] My signature scent

I've been enjoying this scent for several years now. I Live in a log cabin and it has become the "log cabin smell", as my friends and family say! It has a wonderful gardenia smell, but so different than any other i've had. Somehow, it transcends time. It doesn't have that "new candle"odor, it feels ancient and mystical, like it has always been here. It's my signature scent, it burns clean and last a long time!

Baltic Amber review for $200.

Baltic Amber is my favorite fragrance of all time! Its sexy, romantic, woodsy, fun, cozy, warm and I could go on forever! Every night when my hubby and I retreat to our couch after a hard day of work......we light our Baltic Amber candle! Its the last thing we do before turning it! And when it burns down...we buy a new one and do it all over again for days. The glass jars are an added plus! We have found so many uses for them and will continue to do so. Baltic Amber is a fragrance than I love falling to sleep to.

This is my favorite Voluspa

This is my favorite Voluspa scent. The aroma always creates a sense of well-being. It's subtle but beautiful. HOWEVER, the reason for 4 stars is because the Voluspa candles don't burn evenly like they should--even with wicks trimmed and allowing them to burn completely to the edge prior to blowing them out. Also, I feel like the "throw" of the candle is not nearly as detectable as it was which is one of the main reasons that I buy it. The scent compliments a woodsy, warm feel and is great for fall or anytime of the year. Voluspa, up the ante on quality burn and significant throw for Baltic Amber.

Pretty but….

After buying the Forbidden Fig Hearth Candle for Christmas & loving it thought I would try a few more Voluspa’s after not buying them for years (due to lack of scent & throw) This candle does not seem to have much of a scent. But… right now my allergies are horrible. My husband says he can smell it but it’s not the strongest.

This scent is what has

This scent is what has started my love for Voluspa candles. I was at pharmacy gift shop when I came upon the Voluspa Collection. I smelled this candle & I was in love with the scent. I walked away because I thought it was a bit pricey, but kept on coming back for some free smells. Needless to say, I ended up purchasing the candle & I have bought several more since. 100% worth the price.

Finished the @voluspaca goji tarocca orange candle! Stronger in smaller rooms but I liked it. The smell wasn’t overwhelming but was noticeable. The packaging is beautiful, I love it. I’m planning on wash and keep it lol. The string stayed strong until the end so that’s good. It lasted me a week of burning it for hours on end so I’m happy with it. The scent was okay, I enjoyed burning it but I don’t think I would repurchase. I got a pack of 3 for $33 so I think it was okay for $11/candle

Relaxing and uplifting

This scent ia very uplifting at the end of a long day. I am prone to allergies with cloying scents but this scent is just right for me. It is not too overpowering and annoying yet you can really still smell the scent as it freshens the whole room. It helps me relax and unwind at the end of a long day. The whole candles lasts long and melts evenly. The smoke is also not black unlike candles fm other brands. I am very happy using Voluspa candles and this is is one of my favorites from the product line.

I am a longtime fan of Voluspa candles! This is my absolute favorite. The scent is sweet and a little spicy, warm and inviting. The throw is good, I have a decent sized living room and when lit, I can smell it from the kitchen (near my living room). And the tin...oh this gorgeous tin! Absolutely stunning. A great conversation piece for any space. I always repurpose the tin after the candle is burned through. Everybody that enters my home comments on the smell! It’s just really the perfect scent for entertaining or relaxing. I can’t say enough good things about this candle!

The candle does not burn evenly and does not have a strong scent

I felt comfortable purchasing this candle online because I have purchased it before at Nordstrom. The candle that I am reviewing now does not burn evenly. The wicks kept burning out because the wax puddled and covered the wicks. The scent is not strong like I am accustomed to when I purchased the candle from Nordstrom. I can barely smell it. I called Customer Service to resolve this issue and left a voicemail message. Noone returned my call. I hope I can receive a resolution to this issue. I am not a happy camper right now!
