Nicely built. Switch was a little on the cheap side but its a really nice lamp for the price. It is sturdy and looks good in my office. Nice and simple. Would buy again.

This is a great little lamp! It adds just the right amount of mid-century modern glam to our living room and puts off good light for seeing the piano keys.

Fantastic for Reading

These lamps are very attractive and sturdy. We use them on our night stands, so the extra mobility of the lamp helps for better lighting at bedtime reading. The gold is a really nice hue and the lamps are weighted very well with a good sized base.

Awesome Lamp

This is the perfect desk lamp. It's sleek and sturdy. Fully adjustable, light can me turned side to side or up and down even to shine upwards! Doesn't take up too much room. The base is a nice spot to add small decor or desk items that you need to find quickly. I really like it.

Beautiful and adjustable

Very beautiful lamp - the gold is a very nice color and the lamp is very bright. The lamp adjusts well and is easy to bend and raise or lower. The on switch on the lamp I received is a bit loose, but this is not an issue.

Takes A-15 (E26 medium base 40 Watt light bulb!

Classy lamp and aesthetically pleasing! The information in the description is inaccurate!! It takes an E 26 medium base 40 Watt Bulb the Max!! NOT E26 medium base 60 Watt!!! Please correct in your description Overstock. I had to cancel an order of bulbs because it would have been the wrong wattage. The manual that comes with the package says A-15 (E26) medium base 40 Watt light bulb max. Looking forward to getting my bulb today.

Modern Desk Lamp

This lamp is exactly how it looks in the picture. Lovely gold tone, good height for a desk lamp. Very clean and modern looking. I would definitely recommend, and buy it again.

Enjoying my vintage look matt brass lamp from globe electric. I like the lamp’s simple elegance and am pleased with the way it works. The arm can be adjusted to just right height and than locked in to place by turning the T shaped knob at the center of the lamp. The base is hefty to help avoid tipping over and the underside has fabric to prevent scratching the surface underneath. I measured 63 inches for the cord. Globe calls it an 18 inch lamp. I’m not sure. The base segment is 19 inches. The swing arm is 16 ½ not including lamp cone. The cone at the widest point is about 5 inches in diameter. Bulbs that can be used are listed inside the lamp cone include the Type A 40w, 13w SBCFL, or 16w SBLED. I Used a 9.5 LED (supposed to be equivalent of a 60w) and was happy with the amount of light given off. I am very happy to have gotten both pleasing form and great functionality in my new lamp.

This desk lamp by Novogratz X Globe could have been great but not so much. The matte brass finish is nice and the balance arm works well and the lamp was easy to put together. The problem is very shoddy construction. The felt across the bottom of the base on the underside was poorly put on and the lamp does not stand straight. I'm using a 40-watt candelabra bulb which fits the cone shape of the of the shade well but the shade still gets really hot, really fast due to the thinness of the metal. I'm used to working with hot metal and I have calloused hands so that's fine for me but people who don't do that and people with small children and pets who might come in contact with the shade, this is a no.

This very attractive and functional table or desk lamp was exactly what I have been looking for. I needed a small but attractive adjustable type lamp to provide necessary light in my library / den to give me the adequate and needed working light for reading and working on my lap top computer. With a LED 40 watt equivalent bulb the light provides all the necessary needed light. Looks great, preforms even better.

The NOVOGRATZ X GLOBE ELECTRIC TACOMA 18 IN. MATT BRAS BALANCE ARM DESK LAMP is a very attractive desk lamp. Adjusted to the highest position, the lamp measures 18.5 inches tall and 20 inches wide. The lamp requires screwing in two rod pieces to complete the assembly and requires a 40 watt max type A light bulb. The metal cone shade directs the light down onto the surface without adding light to the room. The brass metal has a matt finish that looks antiqued with a bit of a black wash. The lamp shade has a maximum adjustment height of 12 inches. I recommend this desk lamp.
