Not a good experience

Ordered via the app. First I received the wrong rod and then the second attempt came discolored (yellow) as you can see in picture. Otherwise, looked like it would have been a sturdy piece.

I ordered matte bronze and all four came black. The only reason I am not returning them is the hassle. I am disappointed the first time I ordered I didn’t care for the color of the item but after finding out the process I kept it and gave it away.

Thank you. This length was difficult to find in my area. Heavier then I thought but they arrived in a timely fashion.

Rod is easily marked by grommets

The rod became marked with ugly streaks of grey the first time I slid the curtain panels with chrome grommets onto it. I had to spray the rod with several coats of clear plastic spray to prevent this from recurring every time I moved a panel to open or close the curtain.

I got these rods in white with a little distressing. They are beautiful in the bedroom where I am using them. Good quality and sturdy rods, easy to put up and put your favorite curtains on!

Works perfectly for the coastal theme I have for our main room in our lake house. Paired with light tan curtains against a pale blue wall. Helps create a wonderful beach vibe!

Delivery was timely. It looks just like the picture. It came with wall hooks that were easy to put up. It’s sturdy and looks great. I’m very pleased.

Curtain Rod & Finial Set Absolutely PERFECT!

Even better than anticipated! Beautiful, well made, solid, all the hardware is included. Additionally, we REALLY appreciate that it was packaged well for shipping as we have experienced so many issues with products being damaged in transit due to poor shipping practices. The company that manufactured this did a great job and the packaging is excellent. Terrific quality control. We are waiting for our drapes that have been delayed due to severe weather - can't wait to see them up. This Curtain rod and finial set is perfect.

Decent, not the greatest, but very pretty

First, I don't know who to blame Target or the delivery company. but I ordered two sets of curtain rods two times and one was smashed AND damaged both times. I'm guessing it happened in transit. But IDK. I had to return for that reason (damaged AND missing parts). Secondly, this is beautiful, but it has already fallen down once because I pulled my gromment top curtain panel too hard or too quick. A little flimsy. Now when I open and close the panels, I do so very slowly so it doesn't come apart. :-( Third, the center bracket that came with this is NOT sturdy enough for five grommet topped, thick room darkening panels. It is now swaying in the center, as the middle support bracket has swayed downward just a bit. I improvised by adding some filler beneath the rod (on top of the center bracket), but the bracket is simply not sturdy enough in my opinion. It shouldn't have bent from 5 panels.

Resin finial - prone to breakage

Finial is made of resin, so look is a bit cheap, but given that it would be up high, not that important. The finial is also a bit bigger than I expected. But the real issue is that one of the finials arrived broken. Overstock was good about sending a replacement at no cost, which was great. I didn't open the replacement rod until recently and both finials were damaged. I probably could have glued them in place and used them, but in the meantime, I had received another rod that I used instead. The issue is how they ship the rod - the finials are screwed into the rod and surrounded by some plastic. But if the box is tossed around (as UPS/FedEx people do), the strain could easily break off the resin. So combination of poor design of the product and poor packaging contribute to the rating.

Do Not Buy

I purchased two of these curtain rods for my bedroom. One came in fine and the other came in defective. One end that screws into the rod was defective and there was no way you could do this because of the glue and the misshapen cut on the end that this could happen. Overstock immediately sent me a second rod to replace the broken rod. The second rod came in with the exact same defective end and problem. The only way to make this rod work is to cut the screw out and glue the end to the rod but this probably would not hold, and you shouldn't have to do this with a brand new item. Now I am waiting while they contact the manufacturer. I just want my money back so that I can purchase something that is usable right out of the box.

Good buy and decent rods

I bought these rods for my library. They are a rustic oil rubbed bronze look and I really like the finials. The brackets are nothing to write home about, but they will be covered by my Belgian linen drapery so not a problem for me. My only complaint is the plastic ring that is visible at the joint where the two rods meet. I'm not sure why they didn't make it the same color (bronze) as the rods so they would not be so visible. I think the curtain rings/drapery will cover them so not too worried about it.

I ordered the plain silver curtain rod. It clearly states just silver. It arrived and it was a nickel colored curtain rod with a rose gold tint to it. Which is clearly different than the picture AND the description. I have never returned anything from Overstock. So, imagine my surprise when they charged me *** to return two items that are NOT the same as the description OR the picture. I paid a lot of extra money simply because I wanted just plain silver. I could've purchased a prettier one like this at another store for a lot cheaper. So disappointed in Overstock. I will NEVER purchase anything from them again. NEVER! Also, I will be writing about my negative experience to every avenue available to me on the web. Oh, and they said when they receive it they may take more money off, despite the fact that one is unopened and one is still in the box, only cracked open to see the color. Not a good experience.
