The hooks attached for stabbing into the wall were stripped and very difficult to remove. Would have preferred a standard curtain rod with only normal hardware.

Recommend but “adjusting ” is confusing with little to no explanation. You will definitely need a drill to put up the sinkers %26 screws! And connecting your two rod ends uses the white round gizmo that goes between and screws together the 2 rods-so DONT THROW IT OUT! It’s the connector of your rods.
