Great paper towel dispenser!

This clever dispenser dispenses 1 paper towel at a time, and it only requires 1 hand to use it. Like other OXO products, it is extremely well designed and tested.

Oxo paper towel holder

This works very well, almost always tears at the perforation. I personally prefer full size paper towels so am opinionated on these type of holders. This is the best holder for the half size towels that I have found and used. #AtHomeSweepstakes

The best paper towel holder I have ever owned. The fact that the paper towels do not unravel sold me on it. In addition, the holder is attractive (I ordered the brushed metal option.), saves towels not needed, handle on top makes holder easy to move, fits any size paper towel roll, etc., etc. I have used the holder approximately one month. No dislikes.

This was a replacement for an identical one I bought several years ago. A tiny plastic piece broke from the base so the arm would not hold the paper towels I love this holder and OXO products!

Clamp strength

The stainless steel gives a sleek look, and I love the weighted base that keeps it in place. The clamping force of the arm is not as strong as I had hoped. Instead of holding the roll when I try to tear a sheet out, the paper just slides past the arm and the roll spins.

Doesn't work as advertised. Will only give you one sheet at a time "handsfree". End up having to hold onto the roll if I want several sheets at a time. Should have stayed with my old wooden paper towel dispenser.

Have one and gifted one

I have had this paper towel holder on my kitchen counter for years. It is amazing and a reliable work horse of the kitchen. Never falls over with use and keeps the paper towels in check. When my son and daughter in law put this on their shower wish list, probably b/c they too appreciated how well it works in my kitchen, I did not hesitate to purchase it for them.

Spring wore through plastic

Spring wore through plastic loop within a year of normal use. The metal base is also not repair friendly and needed to be roughly pried off.

Arm isn't strong enough to rip with one hand

I thought the tension on the arm would be strong enough that you can rip your paper towels with one hand, like many of these reviews clam. That is not the case for me and I only use generic/store brand paper towels. Most of the time it doesn't rip so I end up pulling out 5 pieces worth of length and have to manually roll it back up.

Great idea for paper towels!

Works great and looks great! No holes to drill and can move from counter to tabletop or out door picnic table for easy paper towel access.

Replacement item

I purchased this item about a year ago, but it broke due to using oversized roll of papertowel. I was not expecting to receive a replacement when I called to inquire about how to reattach the spring in the base.

Great paper towel holder

Fancy looking and beautiful in the kitchen. It’s easy to use. I like the fact that I can take paper towels without having to touch the whole roll, and that makes it sanitary.

I recently purchased the OXO Spring Arm Paper Towel Holder, and it has completely exceeded my expectations! The holder's design is not only sleek but incredibly functional. This thing is a cheap mess. It comes unscrewed from the bottom as you use towels, the. Everything is kattywampus and you have to put it back together again.
