Great rain barrel. Well built and sturdy. The planter on top is a great feature. This is the. Second one we have purchased.

Very easy to assemble. Had all the parts and doesn’t leak. Looks very nice too. The only thing I don’t like is top planter doesn’t seem very useful and more of a water trap, but not anything that is really a big deal. This is a good choice if you want something beautiful and practical.

This rain barrel is very attractive and I like that there are 2 brass metal not plastic spigots to draw off. Some reviews mentioned leaking of the brass fitting in the barrel but I found that good amount of plumbers tape and careful threading avoided any problem. The flower planter on top has an overflow hole (not in the description). I also couldn’t tell if this barrel had a flat or round backside- It is round. Annoying thing; the hardware was taped inside the barrel and had come loose during shipping…falling into the bottom. I had to use barbecue tongs to get the pouch out! Getting good amount of rain water already!

This rain barrel is perfectly designed and looks fabulous. It was easy to install the spigots, and I'll be putting a planter pot in the top area soon. I love it so much that I'm buying a second one!

The rain barrel is sturdy and the basket weave design looks good in dark brown. I like the overflow lip on top, which keeps it from getting clogged and attracting mosquitoes; also appreciate the area for adding plants to soften the look. I'm planning on replacing the third old rain barrel soon–my first one from Wayfair in 2019 is still in great shape.

This is a great addition. Delivery was right on time and in perfect condition. Easy to install and works perfectly. Bonus is it looks great too.

Attractive and easy to use.

Very easy to set up. It was easy to fill up my water jugs, nd the overflow worked as described. I was so pleased that I ordered a second one.

Easy to set up. But the indented top just collects water that ponds and is difficult to remove. I don't have plants set up in the indentation (as shown in the illustration) so that might be the cause of the problem.

I wanted to love this rain barrel and designed a whole garden bed around it, but it leaks from the spigot. The hard plastic fitting doesn’t connect and seal properly to the actual barrel. We had tried several times to seal the brass to plastic fittings with Teflon tape, but discovered that the leak isn’t coming from the spigot itself. The plastic seal installed on the rain barrel is defective. I am very unhappy with this purchase.

So far so good and it is great for watering plants in my garden. I do wish the "filter" was a little better. It doesn't lay completely flat so things sneak in around the edge and it is difficult to clean off. Overall, this does the job that I needed it for!

This item might be the most gratifying of all of my Wayfair purchases. I seem to remember that my husband had some minor issues setting it up, but he did it successfully, built a sturdy stand to bring it up to an easily accessible height, and it has provided many a bucket of fresh, free, rain water instead of expensive, chemically laden city water to keep our vegetation thriving.

Sent me a mix-matched set

I placed an order for (2) Impressions Bali 50-Gallon Rain Savers BUT received 1 and another design that was not as requested. I didn't want a mix-matched set, urrrgh 2 stars for not paying attention or changing my order.

Putting up some more rain gutters, will be putting 2 more rain barrels in place, giving us a total of 7. I have used these barrels before, well worth the money. Very durable

I haven't planted a plant in the top yet. The screen over the entry point of the barrel was broken at the point where it was screwed to the barrel but it works fine. I wish it was possible to open up the barrel like my other rain barrel. It was paler than picture, but it harmonizes with the house.

lead warning stickers

Disappointed when receiving this item. I did not read anything about lead when I ordered but there were lead warning stickers on the barrel upon receipt. Now I am concerned about using this water for the birds and other outdoor animals. I would have ordered a food safe barrel that is available for around the same price had I known about the lead issues. disappointed.

very unhappy

I bought this on May 8th, 2019. I have been looking for one for about 2 years. This had everything I was looking for. I loved the idea of putting plants on the top. I received it very quickly and set it up immediately. The next 2 days we got rain. Very disappointed I immediately saw it leaking from the seam about 10 inches up from the base of the barrel.

works as expected

Threading the nozzles proved challenging and the handles on the nozzles hit the barrel, so the manufacturer might want to downsize the handles. However, the Rain Saver collects rain, and we are able to use the rain for our garden plants.

Buying it Again

I bought this a couple years ago and it lasted two winters. However, this year I forgot to disconnect it and it refilled during the winter thaw, froze and split the bottom. This was of course, entirely my fault. We particularly like the planter on the top, which sets it aside from other barrels. The only recommendation I would make it put small piece of window screen across the drainage hole before planting. It will help hold the soil back- we found that in torrential downpours the planter would get so much water that the soil would run out. The screen for the barrel also gets clogged with grit from the shingles, you have to give it a clean a couple times through the season.

Like it’s features

We’ve had this barrel for three years and have drained it prior to winter and found leaving the spigots open during winter to allow to freeze/thaw and drainage. The screen does a good job of keeping debris out and we pop mosquito dunks in each season just in case and have no problems.
