I was hopeful that this would be a good product, but there aren't too many other options for "rosewood" so I gave it a shot and wasn't disappointed. Easy to work. Dries quickly. No shrinking. Easily sanded.

Excellent results for wood grain highlighting

I bought this product recently for a diy guitar project and used it to highlight the wood grain of the mahogany guitar body... The product performed as expected even though I was using it thinned out a little with water... Good stuff great results! As you can see from the pictures... The middle picture was taken after highlighting. There's no stain just the natural wood and highlighting of the wood grain and some lacquer....
