Love these pans

I first bought the Gotham Steel large frying pan to replace a nonstick saute pan from a different brand set that was past its useful life. I liked the large frying pan so much I wanted to get the set. Everything is great except one of the lids shattered in the box, not sure if it was like that from the factory or if it happened in shipping. There is another lid of about the same size included in the set so it's okay. I did try to get through via the chat about having an issue with my order but whether I picked return or refund they still wanted the product back and the rest of the set is fine so I gave up. The set was cheap enough that I can buy another lid if I decide I need it. Something to remember is you actually don't need oil or spray in these to make them nonstick, sometimes people forget that and end up ruining the finish on their pans by using a product they dont need. I havent tested them in the dishwasher yet or with metal utensils because honestly I'm scared to from having regular nonstick pans for so long. I think the only thing I would have changed was the square piece for something else, maybe a griddle or a small egg pan.

This cookware is very lightweight which may or may not be a good thing, in my opinion. The warranty info inside the box it came in cautions useing potholders to handle hot cookware. In product info on Wayfair's web site, it states the handles are stay cool handles. I have not used any of the cookware yet, however so I can not attest to this being correct. I will update when I have further comments.

While the pots and pans look nice, they're only good for about six months. The"copper" is only painted on and started coming off. I don't know if it's ceramic but I know it's not copper. We mostly make eggs in the round pans and they stick. Also, there's no lid for the smaller pan. I bought this set because I thought the strainer fit in the pot so you could pull it out of the pot when your pasta was done without having to pour the contents out into a strainer. It's just a regular strainer that suits on top of the pot. The handles on the pots, pans, and lids are metal with no protection. It's easy to burn your hands. My mom bought these and I think she regrets getting them and feels misinformed.

Worth the price without a doubt

These pots and pans or 110% without a doubt worth the price. I was shopping for a new set of pots and pans and I realized that for $20 less than this set I was going to get a set that had more pieces, but 5 of those pieces were spatulas, ladles, etc. so I decided to spend just a little more money for something that promised to be better quality and they definitely came through on that promise. These things are incredible. Not only are they amazing to cook with but the clean up is so easy you won’t believe it. I can use a pot to make penne alla vodka sauce, which in case you’re not familiar is amazing but stains things like you wouldn’t believe. So I usually have to deal with an awfully difficult clean up. Not with this set. I literally just fill the pot with hot water and dump the water out and it looks perfectly clean. If you have the money to spare I’m telling you it is without a doubt worth it. This entire set is incredible and so worth it.

Teal N non-stick

I love the color and non-stick pans. Time will tell how well they will last. They are aluminum even though the brand is Gotham Steel. They are lightweight, which is good for me now that I am in my 70s. They work well on my electric flat top range on low and medium heat. The handles are too thin for comfort, but I got handle covers. I havent used the pans in the oven or dishwasher yet, so I don't know. They are so easy to clean, I probably won't put them in the dishwasher. They have 10 year warranty and you have 14 days to register, but I tried to register and haven't been sucessful using their site.

don't believe the hype

I was so excited when I received this cookware because I thought finally, cookware that my son couldn't damage. Wrong! After on two occasions making himself a scrambled egg and bacon breakfast, I can see the scratch marks in the pans already. Oh well, not sure what to do with them now. just wanted to make someone else aware of that problem. Overall, food really does not stick and literally glides off the pans. Just don't prep or scramble eggs with aluminum eatery.

Not non-stick, easily scratched

I bought these because I liked the look as well as the description. Almost Immediately I realized they were not non-stick or scratch-resistant. I barely use the pans because everything gets caked on- even eggs! Also, the bottoms became discolored from my gas stove top. It was a waste of money. Should've just stuck with a trusted brand.

Decent set of cookware but lacks basic features

Cookware seems sturdy so far. But botooms are already stained.. Handles get very hot. As well, so do the lids. Have grandkids. Must take extra caution. Not to let them touch, especially after 1st removing from stove. Guess you get what you pay for.

Nice cookset

This is a nice ceramic cook set that is perfect for cooking a meal fir a small family or couple. The quality of the ceramic coating is impeccable. It isn’t my first set of ceramic pans. I’ve tried Green-life as well. I feel Gotham Steel will be more durable than my pervious set. Gotham Steel is easily cleaned, truly non stick, and priced fairly compared to other brands.

I am really pleased with this set of cookware. It is light and easy to handle. It heats quickly and cooks very evenly. It is easy to clean and I like the sizes of the pots and pans. They are perfect for the two of us and are lighter in weight making cooking and clean-up a lot easier on my arthritic hands! This will likely be the last set of cookware I will buy and I a glad I choose this one.

Nonstick Gotham 12 pcs Cookware

This cookware iant what it says it it. Its liated as a non Stick cookware and ever thing I have cooked in it ao far, sticks to the deying pan, Everything, (Eggs bacon, grill cheese, pork Chops, Green beans). It says in the instructions, Dont spray the pan with any oils, Hum how are you suppose to cook then? The pic show. is from a simple grill cheese that got stuck to the pan last night 1/2/2024. Not worth it at all.

Christmas gift

I bought these for my daughter. The set is a beautiful color and the sizes are decent. The set looks very strong and durable. Because she had not used them yet we are not sure how they will cook but they appear to be an excellent set for the price. I am considering a set fort myself except i just bought two sets by the same company in a different design. I love mine and this set looked like it will be as good or better than the sets i bought. I think you won't be disappointed with this set of s and pans and you'll love the color.

Pots and pans came damaged

My first order of these pots and pans never got delivered. It stated they were delivered but they never came, which was very disappointing, but I did get a refund. I reordered them, because these were a Xmas gift. The second order came with the box all taped up which was very suspicious, indicating these were someone’s returns. On examining the pots and pans, there were scratches and dents on many of them, confirming the fact that they were someone’s returns. Now again I have to return them. So I actually don’t know how these pots and pans work. It was embarrassing and disappointing to get these damaged items.

hard to clean

i purchased this set a week ago. it was my first set I've purchased ever. i felt it was a bad decision. We made steaks two nights, one night we used butter to baste the steaks, the other night we didnt use anything as advertised (no oil or butter needed). this pan was impossible to get the black off. i boiled hot water and dumped it in the frying pan, allowed it to sit for a day and tried washing. it didnt work. i tried boiling water and vinegar in it to release the black and it still didnt come clean. returning this set for something better.

Love

I had this set before and just got rid of them because I jumped on the trend of all of The Pioneer Woman sets to go with my dishes but those PW pans barely lasted me a year so I went back to my Gotham steel just a few weeks ago and love them. They're dishwasher safe you can use different types of utensils on them. They just feel like they are a lot lighter weight then the Gotham set that I had 3 years ago that felt heavy and solid steel. So I'm not sure if these are just steel plated or just the handles are steel and the rest is aluminum and then it has a different coating on the inside. It's just a different quality but I still love them. I wanted a safe cookware set to prepare our food and I had done my research and this was affordable for me.

Induction Cookware/Cooktop

Focusing in Induction cooktop… Only The 2 pans are steel base. The rest are straight Titanium metal supposedly. I would rather it be all pots and pans to be ready for induction heat. But sadly only 2 come like that. No, not for me unfortunately. But good thing it heats up really quick… I guess depending on your cooktop, but over all it’s a good product. Heats up QUICK, I mean… with my cooktop, yeah it was in 30 seconds… Good luck!

Sorry, cannot recommend at all. Purchased in March. Within 3 months the large frying was shot. How can you sear a steak or fry bacon when the instructions warn not to use high heat ? - of course I read the multiple usage warnings too late. Besides that, the one quart pot is pealing on the bottom. Boiling an egg requires high heat which means you can’t use the pot or the frying pan or any of the cookware with high heat. Really??

Simply Disappointed

I am very disappointed in this set. spending almost $100 on this set, and these were on sale for $90, I expected a lot better quality. The pans definitely have promise in their color, variety, and utility. However, directly from opening these pans they feel very manufactured and somewhat cheap. Most of the pots had chipping on the outside paint. two or three of the glass lids had audible glass rolling around in the edges. I could also see the glass shards in one of the lids. I'm very displeased, and I will be returning these no matter the hassle. I was hoping for a long-term pot and I can tell that without serious care and attention these simply will not do. if you're looking for quality pots and pans set that feels nice in your hands, comes with little to no blemishes, look elsewhere. If I knew that this was the case, I would have spent the $30 more to get a better brand.

These pans are Great.

I've waited 6 months before reviewing and i can say i love this set. If you wipe them down within an hour of cooking items in the pan will slip right out. if you leave things in over night, a little warm water and dish soap with a paper towel will generally clean it right out. I use them as instructed. we only use plastic and wooden spatulas in them to make sure metal silverware doesn't damage the pans and we generally never crank up the heat to full blast (i can't think of a time we have gone over 7.5-8 out of 10)
