The Perfect Seasoning

...Please don't think that because this spice is by Goya that it is only for Hispanic meals because, honestly, you haven't had fried chicken until you've tried it seasoned with Sezon! Also, don't let the coloring of the package fool you because it is not 'spicy' at all, not even a tiny bit. Sezon eliminates the use of garlic pepper, pepper, paprika and a few other main spices. The only thing about Sezon, is that it isn't salty at all, almost as if there's no salt in it, so you make need to grab the shaker while you're preparing it.

Deliciousness in a tiny foil packet

This makes any meat way more flavorful and adds a beautiful color (with annatto) Especially chicken and chops. Can be used equally deliciously on vegetables and rice. Great for fried potatoes and onions. Not much needed either

Very positive on Goya con Azafran

I like the azafran MUCH better than the tomate. I make a great dip with it.

So let me start by saying that this was a staple in my mom’s kitchen when I was growing up. We’d put it on chicken and on rice and it gave it this incredible flavor and beautiful golden color. I can still conjure the taste just by thinking about it. However, I was dismayed by the opinions voiced by Goya’s CEO during the last US presidential election. His values do not align with mine and for that reason I no longer purchase Goya products. For those who don’t mind such things, the product is very versatile and tastes good.

Guys, this seasoning is really very good, the fusion of ingredients makes it a delicious touch on meats and its versatility allows it to also be a contribution of color not only in proteins but also in carbohydrates like rice and gives it a divine and different taste! I like to buy this little box because it comes with the seasoning in small sachet packages that really go a long way, and this is my last sachet in the box, which is why the image shows one already opened. But I'm going to buy more because it can't be missing in my pantry, and it also has a fairly affordable price. I sincerely recommend them, it is delicious with seafood too!

Okay, I will tell you guys my secret for incredible turkey every year. It’s this. I inject the bird with garlic herb flavoring then I sprinkle this over the ENTIRE bird, inside, outside, all over. Gives the perfect flavor every time. I even got my mom doing it. Try it, but if you do, don’t sell it out next year so I can’t get any.

I could not find saffron threads anywhere. It was the last ingredient that I needed for a new recipe. After some research I decided to pick up @goyasazonconazafran as a sub. It worked out wonderfully. The taste was great and my husband loved the dish. Now I have to find more recipes that call for saffron. The price is great. Highly recommend this.
