Don’t Purchase. Cheaply Made

The product arrived damaged with broken plastic throughout. The delivery was the primary issue, but the plastic used to make the product was thin and brittle as well. I returned it and chose not to get a new one sent to me because I don’t have confidence in the shelves holding up.

design change made these impossible to fit

a month ago i ordered a 4 pack, and those worked great for my custom shelf height needs now - only a month later? - and the tubes have been redesigned. the old tubes were the same inside diameter all the way, which allowed for cutting to length and they still mated properly. seems the "engineers" decided that old design was not acceptable for some reason, and now the new tubes flair at the ends to the mating inside diameter. (don't know if the tubes from the last order were "old" or "new" compared to each other, but totally different design) cutting these new tubes makes it impossible to mate at a custom length now, and apparently i just wasted 12 tubes by trying to fit these new shelves into the space i need. no part number change, no description change? no option to order the other ones? that is not how engineering works.

STACKED UP!

I was very leery shopping for shelves, especially plastic shelves. I didn't want wood or steel shelves, because I knew in time, loading it up with weight would decrease the probability of relocation (even with castors.) These shelves are "engineered" for stability, water removal, female-to-male straight-line construction and wall anchored. This will be the only name brand, plastic shelf that I will ever purchase! It exceeds your expectations as a simple shelf.

[Rewarded Review] Solid garage storage shelf

This Gracious Living shelf is made completely from plastic and the whole package does not feel very heavy to me compared to my other all-plastic shelves that are of similar dimensions. The installation takes a little bit longer time than I expected. What is nice about this shelf is that it come with a few mounting bracket which you can fasten the shelf to the wall if you want. This is really helpful for these all-plastic shelving unit as they do tend to lean to the side if you put too much weight on it. I would not use it for very heavy duty purpose though as the plastic used for this product does not seem to hold too much weight.

[Rewarded Review] Four shelf storage unit

This four shelf plastic utility storage unit has shelves 32 inches wide and 14 inches deep. There is about 15 inches vertical space on each shelf. The molded plastic resin shelves are perforated/vented, not a solid surface, and are relatively sturdy. This is a medium duty shelf, only holds about 100 pounds per shelf. It is pretty easy to assemble. Place one shelf on the floor, insert four post tubes, put the next shelf on, and repeat until you place the top shelf. There were no printed assembly instructions provided, so it is a good thing assembly was obvious. This is a decent lightweight shelf unit that I’m using for storage in my garage, and it works well for my needs. I would not store really heavy items on it.

[Rewarded Review] Sturdy and easy to assemble, but measure what you plan to store.

The Gracious Living 3-tier storage shelf is easy to assemble. No tools required, just push the round support columns into the holes of one shelf, set the next shelf on top, repeat. They’re sturdy as long as you stack heavy items on the lower shelves, and attach the unit to a wall with the included brackets.

I use a rubber headed hammer to lightly pound the supports in to make sure they are tight. There are built in clips on the side of each shelf which allows you to connect two shelving units together so when when you are assembling the shelf, make sure that male/female clips are consistent on each side of the shelving unit. Comes with two wall brackets to securely attach the unit to a wall. I use mine is the storage area of my basement to store seasonal decoration items.

There are four shelves, with twelve assembly posts and two wall mount brackets. Assembly is a simple matter of placing four posts in the bottom shelf, then adding the next shelf, insert four posts, next shelf, etc. It took me about 10 minutes. Note that I have not mounted the brackets for a wall mounting.

The Gracious Living black 3-tier plastic garage storage shelving arrived today nicely boxed and ready for assembly. The shelves are heavy duty yet made of a resin material that adds to additional features that help with holding weight. Each shelf holds up to 100 pounds of items meaning the total weight capacity of this shelving is 400 pounds. The resin material will not rust or peel. The shelves are designed with a weave like pattern that also adds to the strength of each shelf. Another nice feature is that this shelving includes wall brackets for the permanent placement of this storage shelf and prevents the shelf from falling forward or sideways. Overall this product weighs about 12 pounds and the assembly doesn't require tools unless you install the wall brackets. I highly recommend this product.

[Rewarded Review] Quality Snap Together Storage Unit

First I like the way this is heavy/thick solid plastic that snaps together in about 5 minutes. The base is very stable, the shelves are thick and won't bend in the middle because of weight, and you can put this anywhere. I am using it in my garage to get a lot of stuff off the floor of my garage. It is also easy to clean with a damp rage. The polls fit perfectly and tightly into each shelf. And it has clips that allow you to bolt this to the side of the garage if you feel the need for even greater stability. This would also work in a closet to hold boxes, shoes, stacks of kids clothes, etc.

Gracious Living -maxit, medium duty shelving is incredibly easy to assemble (when placing the supports ridged end goes down, smooth end goes up). We put ours together in just minutes. Great garage storage/organizing solution. There are three tiers, four shelves and the unit measures about 55 inches tall. Manufacture states each shelf can hold 100lbs. I like that each shelf has a ventilation pattern for air circulation and that the ventilation will help keep my stuff dry. Includes wall brackets to anchor shelves to the wall.

[Rewarded Review] Super shelving unit!

The Gracious Living three tier storage unit is just what I wanted for my basement. The unit arrived quickly, packaged only in the shipping box with some air bags on top. It was not damaged at all. The shelving unit took about 5 minutes to put together and could not have been much easier. I would suggest you put it together close to where you want to use it because it does also come apart easily as well when you try to move it. While this is not a heavy duty metal type rack, it is sturdy enough to store the paint cans and painting supplies that I had scattered around the basement floor in random boxes. The label says the unit will take 100 pounds per shelf. I believe that to be true. Quick and easy to put together, solid enough for my needs. Recommended!

Gracious Living has a line of "maxit" shelving systems that are nice looking and very efficient for storage. This shelving unit is a 3 tier, 4 shelf unit that comes ready to assemble out of the box. It measures 32"W x 14'D x 55"H. Each shelf is rated to hold up to 100 lbs. Assembly is very simple and requires no tools, just snap pieces into place. It is light weight, made of medium duty plastic and is very sturdy. Equipped with brackets two brackets to secure it the wall.

Broken Fresh Out The Box

I guess you get what you pay for. I opened the box and as soon as I tipped the compact shelves out of it...a small piece of plastic rolled out. I'm thinking 'Okay, so the feet have to be attached'. No! The foot broke off. So, I lay the bottom piece down with now 3 feet and I'm like, 'Oh, it's okay. It's not off balance'. No biggie. Well, as I added the upper shelves to it (which was massively easy and the reason this thing even got more than 1 star from me) it started to teeter. I broke out the gorilla glue and now it's better than new since it came broken. ::eye roll:: I'd still recommend it since it was so easy to put together and seems sturdy enough. I'm sure it was damaged during transport but still. A bit annoying to have to wait a night to let the glue cure to I can use the shelving unit that should gave taken 5 minutes to put together.

Ideal to assemble for a wet basement & the right size for box storage.

I have a floodable basement. I store items in tomato boxes when I can get them, and 2 tomato boxes fit side by side on each shelf. Other people have said plastic shelves are not strong enough. I have had several of these in the past and they are holding up to boxed items...I think boxed items spread the load nicely on the shelf. I load my boxes to distribute the weight well, so I cannot say how these shelves will hold up if you have one heavy item on the shelf, unboxed, like a sump pump motor. They are EASY to move and assemble, which is important on my low-energy days.
