Quick and Easy Setup

I've had a bunch of 1x4 MDF sitting on saw horses in my garage for the past 8 months and I've also been doing some woodworking recently and I needed some way to get things better organized. This rack is decently priced and very easy to put together. I may add another set in the future. The quick and easy setup and good price make this a much better option that trying to make my own racks.

Smaller than expected but still works great.

I recently purchased and installed this 4-tier lumber storage rack made by Bora. I was a little concerned when it arrived as I was expecting something a bit bigger. The box it ships in is very small and it's packaged well. All of the metal parts have a nice finish.

A breeze to install

I finally got around to organizing my tiny shop and needed some Lumber storage. Bought a set of Portamate racks and was surprised at how easy they were to install and how strong they are. Worked great and couldn't be happier.

Great value, but not perfect. It is made in China, and some of the mounting holes weren’t punched all the way through, so there were two holes that still had metal “chads” hanging. I bought two of these sets to have a longer span on my shop wall. Trying to level all four of these is impossible in part to how the tier pieces fit into the vertical risers. Not a big deal as I just shim the wood so I don’t end up with long boards with waves in them.

This is a great wood rack, it helped get all of my lumber in various parts of the garage off the floor and leaning against the walls in to a really nice organized place. Now I can pick out my various woods easily without constantly tripping over it on the floor. Would definitely buy again!

Works and looks great

Easy to install on the wall. Install two set of the lumber racks by screwing up rights into wall studs with #10 x 3 1/2" screws. Now I can stack my wood horizontally to keep the wood from warping (presently wood standing vertically against the wall). The only little problem was there were two horizontal bars and the wall spacers missing in one box. I called the 1-800 number found inside the box and they send me the missing parts in three days. Thank you Affinity Tool!
