I bought this for my husband as a Christmas gift, beautiful for our front door!

Beautiful piece however it did not come with any hardware. It took a long time to locate the right parts. Also, appeared bigger in the photos.

It's bigger and heavier than expected! We are building a new house and the front door has a very medieval look. This door knocker is the perfect item to be the first thing we decorate our new home with! If you are looking for an item that will last a lifetime, this lion is it.

Mounting Hardware

Item does not come with mounting hardware, and the mounting holes are randomly unaligned. Requires two bolts that must be put through door or requires mounting to a separate facia that is then mounted to door.

Very well made, sturdy and heavy. I ordered a pair for an antique door behind my lion head outdoor fountain. These were perfect.

Knocker is ok. Seems sort of cheap. No mounting instructions and NO hardware. Really... what do they expect. Called CS and they said they would contact mnfctr. They also said they would email me immediately... 2 days and nothing yet.

Quality issues

Unfortunately this arrived with no hardware for installation. In addition, it had several holes in it. I kept it, but I had to make a trip to the hardware store to remedy these problems.

Great door knocker ! Well made, heavy & so cool looking ! Reminds me of The Munster's front door knocker. Your neighbors will be admiring this baby ! And, imagine Halloween when the trick or treaters come a knocking ! BOO !

I love my new door knocker! Now the challenge...I can't put it on my door because it's too big so we have to figure out how to put it on the wall. It's going to look beautiful!

We love it, and so does everyone who comes by. We did have to hire a handyman to install it, as it is quite heavy and solid and we did not want to damage the door (steel front door, red!). Super impressive, exactly what we were looking for! Will shop here again!
