This was the worst purchase I’ve ever made. Product arrived severely damaged and scratched. My husband put it together and given our wedding we did not have time to return it. I regret it now. It is a piece of garage and not worth $100, let alone $350. It is made of pressed wood and is not stable!

The dresser looks very nice and seems pretty sturdy. It was quite a bit of effort putting it all together, but the instructions make it pretty easy. I have one drawer that the bottom corner is slightly damaged, but its not very noticeable when its all put together. There are also a couple drawers that are not perfectly flush as they didnt pull in tight all the way when putting them together.

It’s not often you find a piece of furniture (that requires assembly) where everything comes intact, undamaged, and with all of the holes correctly aligned. This, and the other Gravity pieces including the nightstands, are one of those sets that really knocks it out of the park. It took me about 1 hour to assemble by myself and if you go slow and follow the instructions, it should be no problem.

Great dresser for the price and the color is super nice. Easy to put together even on your own (though maybe you shouldn’t). My only complaint is the drawers are shallow but I truly just have too many clothes. I’m super happy with the purchase.

What a Monet!! Looks great from afar, but an absolute mess up close. The number of major dents and damaged pieces is unacceptable. I’ve written to the company for replacements but still no response. Since I was half through the build decided to finish. Then discovered the drawers are so shallow compared to the actual dimensions. You’ll see in the photos you lose 4 INCHES of drawer space in all 5 drawers. Poorly manufactured and such a waste. We bought the full set and every one has damage so this is not a one off. Definitely the last time purchasing from South Shore.

This chest is very cheap, and not worth the money. Within a few months, it not only became very wobbly and unstable, but the drawers also became unhinged, and fell through the bottom. Getting them to stay in place was a challenge, which made the entire thing an eye sore. This also caused the draw to not be usable since we could not get it open or shut without it crashing to through the bottom. The back panel also came off. Please do not waste your money!

I would’ve given this piece of furniture 5 stars but gave it 4 stars simply because of the installation. There were a lot of pieces, and one of the trims did not fit. I bought two, so it took almost 3-4 hours to put the entire dressers together. I believe the installation could’ve been simpler. Other than that, I was satisfied and it was everything I expected.

It has sturdy construction and does what you expect. I'm tall (6'3") so I wanted something taller. My only complaint is that the little foam cushions that keep the drawers from slamming shut really don't do their job well. They weren't shaped as long as they need to, and there's not very much overlap between the frame and drawers to accomodate - so that system could use a better foam cushion.

If I could give this dresser negative stars, I would. It is junk. I could use it better as firewood than as a dresser. I could knock it over just by blowing on it. It is so unstable and wobbly and yes, I have double checked, triple checked all the hardware to make sure it is tight. It is a fight to get the drawers to fit into the drawer glides. Opening a drawer a little bit, and it starts a slide out. None of the drawers sit flush with the dresser. One handle is held on by one screw and one drawer doesn’t even have a handle on it because they didn’t provide enough hardware. It’s already peeling in places. If you are thinking about purchasing this item, I suggest you find something else. I am so sad I wasted my good hard earned money on this piece of junk.

After several months, I had to update my review. While the dresser is pretty, it’s absolutely horrible. It’s poor quality, the drawers fall apart and they’re also very shallow and don’t hold anything. I had to reinforce the drawers myself which is a pain and a hassle. I would not recommend this dresser to anyone. For what it cost, it should have been a better quality. Now I’m out money and trying to find better furniture.

This furniture overall is pretty surprisingly great. I bought the entire set (dresser, chest of drawers, two bedside tables) and, as inexpensive as it was, it looks fantastic. It does take a long time to put together, but it isn't difficult, just time-consuming. Fair warning, it is not the most sturdy furniture, the drawers are not particularly deep, and I do NOT recommending getting the veneer wet (it will damage it quickly). All of that said, I needed a good looking set of furniture that wouldn't break the bank for my bedroom and this more than serves that purpose. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Can't Beat the price. Yes, you have to invest a few hours assembling the piece. Visually stunning. The corners are really sharp (took a hammer and slightly adjusted that by tapping delicately). Follow instructions carefully. Not a heavy-duty piece, BUT, for the price, and if you do not abuse it, should last a few years.

This is a great dresser it’s a beautiful color. I am NOT a handy person at all! And even I was able to put this dresser together by myself. It took me a few hours to figure out the instructions since it goes a lot by detailed pictures but I did it! Now I have bragging rights for life! Seriously it’s a great dresser.

Very happy with this dresser. It matches my Gravity nightstands. Like The night stands, It is very sturdy and fairly easy to assemble. There are some trim pieces that are not pre÷drilled, making them a bit more difficult to attach. The unit was a little expensive but given the quality I think it represents value for money. I would certainly recommend the product. In fact, I like it so much I think I'm going to buy the 6-drawer dresser as well, to.complete the collection.

The corners of the drawers are very sharp and will tear skin which is unfortunate as this was for my kid's bedroom. The instructions were a little difficult to follow and we missed a step which we didn't realize until the very end and we had a piece leftover so we had to go back and the drawers go in a specific order. The drawer bottoms are not particularly sturdy. It does look nice and the top is solid.

The instructions for assembly were awful! It took 3-4 calls to the factory, and I had difficulty describing my problem. As it turned out, not even the technician I talked to understood how the item had to be assembled. I guessed at how to put it together and when I got to the end of the project -- maybe 4-1/2 hours -- I discovered I was correct in my guessing, and it all worked out ok... but I was exhausted! The factory sent me a part I didn't need, but I even was able to attach the completed chest of drawers to a stud in the wall.

Defective Item. I am requesting a refund. I was sent screws that didn’t fit the legs. After purchasing the correct size. The legs would not stay on the base of the dresser. I would not recommend purchasing this item. I have the wide dresser to this one and did not have any problems putting it together. Previous dresser came with defects and cracks and I still kept it. This is just flat out in usable and ridiculously too heavy to return.

It was a horrible experience ordering this dresser. I booked an "expert assembly" and the guy who came to build the dresser did a terrible job. He wanted to quit half way through and didn't build the dresser accurately. The dresser is also falling apart because of the Expert Assembly assigned it did a terrible job. There are two separate pieces that are not even built.

Incredibly difficult to put together. There aren’t pre-drilled screw holes in many places. Worse than that is the depth of the drawer. This piece was specially purchased for its height and width because we were in desperate need of storage in a small space. The side pieces of the drawer do not go up high enough, thus you are loosing a good inch or more of height space in each drawer. Very disappointed about that. However, the dresser is attractive and sturdy for particle board. I like the smoothness of the interior of the drawer and the exterior has a nice weathered appearance.
