Wow, I am so impressed with the quality of this rug! It’s the perfect thickness and softness for my sons bedroom. Ours did show up with a blemish in the middle of one of the gray areas, but overstock was very helpful in resolving this issue. Very happy with it overall.

Good quality carpet for the price. We are using this in my son’s room, and the carpet gets a lot of wear and tear but still looks great. Perfect neutral colors too. Goes with everything.

Nice rug

Bought this for my 10 year old sons room and I really like it. Nice quality and looks great. I do wish the the rug were a little bit thicker but nothing a rug pad won’t take care of. The good thing about it is that it doesn’t shed at all!

This is a great quality rug for the price! It's in my child's room to protect our carpet. I will say it's a little itchy when sitting on the floor though.

It sheds! Constantly!

The rug is more grey and beige than grey and white. I would say it will look much better outdoor than indoor. It sheds what is very annoying. I find tiny hairs everywhere, on our clothes, in other rooms. I wish I could return it.

Great sturdy attractive rug that fits well in our 15 x 15 room. The quality is great and the colors are calming and neutral. I would highly recommend this rug.

Why are other quality brands' rugs so expensive?

At first, I wondered why Safavieh's wool rugs were so cheep, but now I wonder why other brands are so expensive. This is my second wool rug from this manufacturer and just like the other one, this rug is in a relatively high use area (this one is in my kids' playroom). I've had this rug for a bit and have had no issues whatsoever. Also, Overstock is a fantastic place to order rugs from! Like the many others I have purchased, this one showed up fast, was very well packaged, and when unrolled, matched the description and pictures perfectly.

The rug looks great, however it smells. So far no shedding like other reviewers mentioned. It smells like mildew. It was delivered 5 days ago; it's been aired out, vacuumed, I put down baking soda and let that sit for hours and vacuumed again (I did this twice) still smells the same. I will have to pay to have it professionally cleaned. I hope it holds up and that the smell goes away.. EDIT! I spoke with customer service and they said the "un-gasing" process can take up to 1-2 weeks. James was very helpful and offered me an exchange if the smell does not go away by next week (it's already been 1 week). Fingers crossed and keep you posted!
