I read a lot of great reviews and decided to buy it. The first one stopped working after 3 months. The replacemEnt that I’m using for the diet time turns off after a minute it’s on. I’m so frustrated with this brand. I would give it zero stars if I could

Hume XL

I have had this humidifier for 2 years. It is sleak and good looking product that works really well. Cleaning is very easy. The company really stands by the warranty on the product too.

You're going to like it!

We needed a large capacity humidifier and when we found this we were thrilled. Sleek, super quiet, easy to fill. The led light is just bright enough and user controls are right at your fingertips. Audible confirmation on the control panel is really cool too. A full tank lasts about 3 days. Output spouts can be moved for a 70/30 split or combined for full strength. Overall, very happy with this model.

Game changer

I purchased the HumeXL on whim while shopping at a local store. I was in the market for a humidifier for health reasons and decided to give this brand a chance. OMG!!! I love it!! Not only could I control the amount of mist that was released but I could adjust the directions! Oh and there is a sleep mode so it is super quiet, you never know it is on. I would highly recommend this unit.

Excellent humidifier

I purchased this humidifier a month ago, and love it. The set up was simple, love the quiet operation, dual mist nozzles and the night mode setting. I will definitely be a return customer!

Quite Disappointed

Dislike: #1. ALL the buttons are very hard to see as they are the same color as the background (black) with NO minor lightening at all. #2. When the water tank is empty, there's no indicator for this. It just shuts off. #3. No major difference in the low/high settings.

Efficient and quiet.

Very quiet and does the job efficiently. My only complaint is that it is very difficult to refill the water. The design requires filling from the bottom which requires removing it from the base. It is dripping and very heavy when refilled. I would have given 5 stars if I could refill it from the top.

Amazing product

I use this humidifer for my 2 year old. Recently I noticed everytime I cleaned it , it wouldn’t stay clean. So I emailed the company, they got back to me in amazing time. They are sending me a brand new one at no charge. They are extremly helpful! I would recommend this company x1000!

Fantastic Customer Service

I purchased this item at Bed Bath and Beyond months ago. Started making unbearable noise. Even though I couldn't get a receipt from BBB. Customer service are replacing my unit. This type of service is surely unheard of these days. Very grateful for the service extended. Thank you Abby for all the assistance.

Amazing Customer Service

After about 15 months of constant use, our humidifier developed a small leak. I called customer service and they gave me a few options for determining the cause. They were extremely helpful and are in the process of shipping us a replacement. Great product and great company!

Excellent bedroom humidifier!

I have two of the the XL Hume humidifiers. I need another one so I am looking for a sale on them. They easily add moisture to a family room or bedroom. Easy to refill if we keep a towel handy for drips. They also run quietly and the light can be turned off.

Works well!

We have radiator heat and noticed our eyes and noses becoming dry, which is why we bought the humidifier. Happy to report it is easy to use and works great. Using humidity sensors from Amazon, we were able to determine that with the heat on, baseline humidity levels read ~30% (which is quite low but normal for winter... between 40-60 is best and most comfortable). With the humidifier, we were able to bring it up to 40% in 3 hours on the highest setting. Would recommend!

Incredible!

I absolutely love this humidifier! It has helped the air in my tiny apartment immensely. It has been so dry in here due to the extreme negative degree winter conditions. I have had dry skin, nosebleeds, a scratchy throat; the list could go on. Ever since I cleaned the humidifier, filled with water and let it do its thing, the air has improved drastically. I no longer experience any cold related symptoms. My favorite part of the humidifier is watching the mist billow out of the top. It is very satisfying and calming!

Poor Quality, High Price

Poor quality for the price. You have to remove the tank to fill & then it is very difficult to line back up to the body. Buttons are confusing & don’t seem to change anything but on/off & turning off the light. It blows too much water in one place. The only option is to turn the wheel on top and aim a stream of water in another direction. This isn’t a fine mist, which would disperse slowly throughout a room. All the moisture lands right around the unit.

Love this machine!! (DON'T FORGET THE FILTER!)

This machine is perfect. In Arizona, where we moved almost 6 years ago, everything is dry with humidity in the summer in the single digits. Dry eyes, dry/bloody noses/dry skin. We had a different brand that died after a year. We bought 2 of these but so far only one is operating. All the "health issues are gone, including my cat's "goober eye." I didn't know there were decalcification filters until recently, but especially in Arizona you need one. I was dusting furniture at least once a day because of the white film/dust that covered everything. This is the perfect machine.

Great water vapor output

I am greatly enjoying our new HumeXL Cool Mist Humidifier. In the winter, our house is so dry – lots of static in the air, cracking skin on fingers which is quite painful. I purchased this humidifier to add moisture to the air in our large living room. I’m pleased to say that it has worked wonderfully. The unit puts out a lot of water vapor and my husband and I have noticed that are fingers have not cracked so far and the static in the air is gone. The unit is also very quiet so it doesn’t disturb TV time. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Couldn't Be Happier

I have finally purchased a cool, mist humidifier & I am glad I chose this one. After having to close up the house for the winter months, this unit makes it a lot more bearable, especially in the bedroom. It looks great, functions great & I can already tell the difference after only 2 days of use. My only question is, is it supposed to shut off automatically after 20 minutes or so of use? I always make sure the tank is full so I can run it for long periods of time. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Other than that, I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

Great for when the AC dries out a room

I live in a desert area, which typically means there's an ongoing battle between running our AC in the summer and our rooms getting too dry.

Quiet, and almost life-changing

We live in southern NM, after 35 years in the humid DC region. We're drying up like autumn leaves. This humidifier is a game-changer for us. Right now I use it in the bedroom at night and the TV room during the day. I'm ordering a second one so I don't ave to move it twice a day. This unit is very, very quiet. I bought a hygrometer to measure the humidity when this is in use, and the difference is significant. I know I don't wake up anymore in the middle of the night to scratch my dry skin.

Easy to use!

I purchased the HumeXL Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier after months of research and debate on which model to get. After reading great reviews from other consumers, I decided it was time to act! I am SO glad that I did. Here are some of my favorite things about the humidifier. Easy to fill & carry tank, in the past the tanks have always been so frustrating too big, too small, too hard to open and then the spills. This model is not only easy to use, but also large enough to last an entire day or night. The entire unit is very easy to move around the house. The buttons are user friendly and I love the night light option, great for little ones. Overall so happy with this humidifier. Highly recommended!
