Reviews
Not for me. Didn’t meet my needs.
The appearance is nice and exactly how it looks online. However, I like to to use the chair upright not reclining, and in the upright position the footrest is much too low to the ground causing my back to hurt. I’m a petite person so that may be the problem. I am keeping it and using an old footrest I have and that solves the problem. Would not recommend for a person 4’11” tall.
They were difficult to assemble with unclear directions. However when we finally got them assembled they were comfortable and looked great. They work perfect in our 5th wheel which has a rear entryway. These recliners fit perfectly in small spaces. The feel of the faux leather is great and cooling to your body. Very comfortable. We ordered the grey color which has dark stained wood support.
The chair appears to be well built. It is comfortable when seated. The wheels for the swivel were not lubricated making it very hard to move. After lubricating, it swivels much easier. The type of material used on the seating area looks great. But, when you try to slide on it, you can't making it hard to get out of the chair. In addition, the footrest sticks out too far adding to the difficulty exiting the chair. Those are the only issues keeping it from being an outstanding chair for the money.
Just not worth it
Takes forever to put together! Had to hire someone. Intensive! Very hard and confusing design to use - you have to turn knobs on both sides - people don’t understand it. The footrest doesn’t really go all the way up and then comes down with any significant weight. Waste of time and money and I got it on a good sale or it would be a 1 star review.
Very nice, very comfy, aesthetically pleasing. Not 100% well thought out on design both for longevity, functionality, and packaging. The friction between cushion will cause the faux leather to thin and tear with time. The twist knob “locking” mechanisms to set the recline should have holes every so many inches to have a locked out upright position, reclined position, and somewhere in between. In a perfect would this threaded area would be spring loaded so that the user can pull the knob to adjust the recline with ease rather than wearing out the bar, the threads, and themselves trying to tighten down these knobs so they aren’t falling back to a full recline at all times. Outside of that and the afore mentioned need for package bracing between the wooden track cover and leg stand are all this would need to be perfect. The chair itself is amazing, comfortable, sleek, very space saver friendly but doesn’t feel small. Basically if you trimmed all the fat off a regular recliner and replaced it with coffee house/lounge vibes. The faux leather handles really well. My pets claws don’t pierce it or leave indents and they are 15 and 80lbs animals. The track is smooth and hasn’t caught or stalled due to pet hair or anything else, although I am on hard wood so I can’t speak for carpet.
I’m really liking it except for one thing…it’s a bit low for me. If it were a few inches higher, it would be much easier to get in and out of. Otherwise, I have no complaints. It’s comfortable and just the right size for what I needed. It’s not the most solid chair I’ve had, but it’s fine for me and well worth the price.
It’s a nice recliner but it’s difficult to recline in and the foot rest release is not easy to find. To lower the foot rest all you have to do is push so it doesn’t really stay up very well. In fact if you just relax your legs you cause the foot rest to lower. I bought this for my mother who has Alzheimer’s and it’s barely mobile and it doesn’t serve her (or anyone) as well as I’d hoped. I wouldn’t recommend it.
A little difficult assembly . Reaching assembly holes and turning screws . Using the switch to raise the footrest is difficult because the arm rests are different than in product listing. See above
Smaller then I thought and no height adjustment. It is comfortable and the tilt is joke but it functions. It is worth what I paid for it that’s all. Nothing special
not worth the price
The only good thing about this chair was it was easy to put together. Foot rest doesn't go all the way up, so you legs hang off. Low to the ground so it makes it difficult to get out off chair. Don't waste your money on this chair as it won't last long.
It's a $200 chair
Had it for 4 days, not enough time for a proper evaluation. I will say this, it's a $200 fake leather chair with free shipping... meaning it's not a $700 leather chair by any means. Will it hold up? That's anyone's guess. It looks just like it does in the pictures.
Wasted money
okay to just sit. back and seat comfortable. foot rest doesn't extend all the way, so you feel like you're going to fall forward out of the chair. I would not consider this a recliner.
Not worth the money..Blue recliner
The negative reviews are accurate. The arms are as low as the seat giving you the sense of falling out of the chair, no side support. It has very little recline or leg lift. it feels flimsy, not heavy duty. It is nice looking for staging a home or even extra seating. Not practical for everyday usage from grown adults. And I still have not figured out how to put the clips on the bolts holding it together, weak instructions. Nice color blue.
Junk! I reurned 2 chairs!! Very low to floor!!!
Junk! Very low to the floor!! I was so disappointed. Very uncomfortable. The seat was so hard. I had to return 2 chairs!!!
A Nice Chair Let Down By Swivel Mechanism
This could so easily be a very good chair but the unique design of the 'swivel base' which can be seen resting on the floor in the photographs is doomed for premature failure. The circular rail and bearings are all made of plastic !! After just a few hours of use my chair swivel rails and bearings feel rough and are grinding and graunching as you swivel left or right. The recliner mechanism is very good, the upholstery is very good, the woodwork is adequate at this pricing level. Assembly is very easy for one person to perform. Sadly I think the swivel rail and bearings will not last long. I would concur with others that this chair base is on the low side, it could have done with being a couple of inches higher.
Rocker recliner
I love this chair ,very comfortable . Only issue is reclining Had a hard time figuring out how tto do it. Other than that it fits in the room perfectly. Very nice
Homecom Recliner Chair
The chair is much lower than I expected so being in my seventies I find it quite hard to get up from. It isn’t quite as substantial as I expected and I think I will have to be careful not to tear the fabric as it is quite thin. I suppose for the price it’s ok but not what I had hoped for.
3 Stars
After using the chair for awhile the foot rest weakened and no longer would hold up both my feet. The springs are too weak, stronger springs are needed. Otherwise the chair is comfortable.
Not a fit
I would not recommend this chair. The bottom wood was too orange looking. The overall chair was small, and didn't feel very sturdy. The feel and look of this chair was cheap in my opinion. It was easy enough to put together though. I purchased 2 of these chairs, and ultimately returned them. Had to return for a store credit, or it would have been too expensive to return. Also very heavy and bulky to have to return.
Perfect size
Great size , this is not an oversized, overstuffed recliner. It's small and compact and just the right size for a small living room. I love the grey color and it looks like real leather.
