[Rewarded Review] I have now ordered 3

I have now ordered 3 of these. They are beautiful. Just the right height for gardening. I got 2 for my mother who is 88 so she can grow her vegetables and not have to get on the ground. I liked them so much I bought one for myself. The wood is wonderful and it comes with a liner to contain the dirt.

Disappointed In Quality

Holes did not line up for long bolts into floating nuts. Bolt holes drilled on an angle, had to enlarge and elongate holes. Still in one case had to use a long lag bolt to secure. Very frustrating problem. Wood was fine, institution’s OK but poor fabrication. Although I would like to purchase again as it fits my needs I don’t need the stress of reworking.

Sturdy and generous size.

Very nice raised garden box. Fast shipping! Fairly easy to assemble. I gave it 4 stars because some of the pre-drilled holes were either missing or in the wrong location. It made it impossible to put together as instructed. Made a couple of modifications and we made it work. My plants are doing well. Feels very sturdy and looks nice on the back patio. We have since stained it to protect the wood.

Didn't even last through one growing season

We purchased 2 planters in April 2020. By August one planter was falling apart and the other is heading in the same direction. If you are familiar with Square Foot Gardening method, we used "Mel's mix" which is a mix lighter than regular garden soil. The bottom of the planter still fell out. We were pleased with the look when we first received but it did not stand up to the test of time. Cannot recommend this purchase. We have another planter purchased from another manufacturer several years ago which is still going strong. This Best Choice product didn't even last 6 months.

DO NOT ORDER

Be warned, they push your negative review to the bottom of the reviews. I ordered four of these and they are super cheap! They lasted one week and the wood split away from the dog tail area where you put the screws in. They promised me a PARTIAL refund, and/or return them. Return them??? They are all built. Never got the partial refund so I did a credit card dispute because three of them totally fell apart after week two. Again, you will only see the positive reviews first. Wasted $319 plus for these. Again be warned. If you want pictures just ask me for them. I will email them to you.

Falls Apart even without the potting soil added

The planters arrived on time and in good shape. I assembled them according to the instructions. After the boxes sat in the backyard for a few days, I went out to add potting soil. Much to my surprise, the planters were falling apart! The screws had sliced through the wood in the joints and the planters were barely standing. And this happened without the addition of any weight. I am very disappointed. I would like a refund.
