Veey low quality self assemble chairs are junk

Very disappointing purchase. First of all, I didn't realize I would have to put these chairs together myself. when I opened the box, I realized the wood was very lightweight and not high quality. The chair looked to be narrow. I was very doubtful it would hold the liated 350 pounds. The instructions looked good, so I went ahead and put one of the chairs together. they went together fairly well. All the parts were there, but I was nervous about setting my 175 pound body in the chair. It held with a lot of creaking. This chair is a great idea, but the execution is less than stellar. I will be returning it as soon as I can.

Horrible

DO NOT BUY!! Absolutely horrible quality! After just a few weeks, it started to break. We considered returning them, but they took soooo long to assemble that we didn't want to go through that again. We thought maybe we could still use them or fix them (I know, ridiculous). Now they are actually dangerous, with screws sticking out and pieces of wood cracking and breaking after only light use. Target's answer? Nothing they can do. I was told to talk to the seller. I talk to the seller and they tell me there's nothing they can do and that I must talk to Target... No one is taking responsibility for this terrible product! What a waste of money!

Just Buy the Plastic Ones, These are CHEAP

I would give this ZERO stars if I could. The wood these are made out of is super thin and brittle feeling. Both my spouse and I are over 100 lbs less than the alleged weight capacity, but the chairs feel like they might break any time we have tried to sit in them. We have had them outside for about a month and they are cracking and peeling already. It doesn't matter that we got these on sale, they are way too poor quality for even a reduced price.

Not the best quality

These are very nice looking chairs. The colors are nice and the folding aspect of them is appealing. However, the finish is not adequate if they are going to be outside. The four I purchased needed to be painted after a short time. Also, several pieces of the chairs have already split, necessitating repairs.

Expensive lesson

Something is wrong with each of the 4 chairs, but my handy sons have made each work (well will, some work is the works). Many hardware trips for missing screws, striped screws, wood glue, … not worth the money but my son invested 1.5 hours to 2 hours per chair to make them for me so we will make them work. My husband is convinced that since we assembled them and “made them work”. $300 lesson. Counter stools from Target are 7 years going strong. Our first Target flop, expensive lesson. Hope they last the 5 years our $20 plastic chairs lasted.

Excellent chair for a great price!

Would’ve given 5 stars, such a great chair I ordered more but decided to order directly from BCP because this one had a piece missing and Walmart did not reply to me to replace the missing part. Contacted BCP and they do not provide customer assistance when you order through Walmart. The others had all the correct pieces and are great chairs offered in many colors painted on solid wood. These chairs will last! Never have seen a better price for an Adirondack. If I had any con besides the fiasco with the missing part, I would say the hardware could be coated for outdoor longevity. However, I will coat them myself and enjoy the lower price I paid!

2 hours to build less than 24 hours to break

Took 2 hours to put the chair together but it was relatively easy. Would recommend someone helping to place the screws in so that the job moves quicker. The second one is always easier to put together than the first. Be careful assembling, the wood is cheap and you need to follow the instructions provided. Within 24 hours our one chair broke at the arm support because the wood snapped. It’s better for kids it’s not meant for adults. It really doesn’t hold 350 pounds or support a 350 lb person actually using the product. Buy something more expensive that will last longer than a day.
