Update DO NOT ORDER WHITE

Quality was great. I ordered 6 chairs. Wrench was not included in any of the packages…so be prepared when putting washers on. I put them together myself. The back piece was hard to handle for me alone. However, I simply marked where the screw holes were which made it much easier and faster. Once I put together the first chair, it was very easy to do the others. I would order more of this brand.

Love these chairs

My wife bought a set of these in teal for me as a Christmas present. I was reluctant to set them up because I feared an IKEA nightmare project. So they sat there until Memorial Day.

Nautical Curveback Adirondack dining chair

Received 4 Nautical Curveback dining chairs. No issues !! After assembling the first chair, the other 3 assembled quickly. Seat height is good also. We use the matching cushions which work out great also. Very comfortable seating position. Also what’s nice is the decking we have is Trex,,,, which allows you to move the chairs to the table with ease.

Quality control- help.

Little disappointed with the quality of the chairs. Both the compression of the material and the build / inspection quality. I prefer American Made.

You can’t go wrong with

I love my polywood chairs, we now have 6. Knowing that I can leave them out, in cold, wet winters and hot summers, and once I wash them off, they will look like new. They are sturdy, strong and high enough to be comfortable for my “large” friends. Polywood may be expensive, initially, but, in the long run, they are totally worth it. Next year I plan on buying rockers for my porch. Customer service is outstanding, one of my pieces had a flaw, a new one was sent quickly.

Good Quality, Sturdy Chair

I definitely like this chair, but it's not my everyday. It sits a little too far back and you need to be in the mood for it. I had really high hopes for the Polywood brand and it lives up mostly to quality expectations - easy to keep clean and reasonably solid. I have a teak chair as well, which is a bit more maintenance but absolutely built like a tank and comfortable too. You can't go wrong with this one as long as you want that Adirondack seating experience.

Comfortable, durability in the desert

We bought 4 gray Adirondack chairs to go around our fire pit when it was fire pit weather. When it warmed up, we would take two of them out to the back of the yard at cocktail hour to watch the sun go down over the mountain.

great squirrel food!

This is a great chair to sit in, and it looks great too! had it sitting out in my yard for about a week before the squirrels found it and chewed many chew marks in it. The chewed parts on on the arms....so no comfortable to sit in it and place my arms on the arm rest. I emailed the company and they had no options for me except for the fact that I can buy new arms if I like. I know others have had a similar situation. I hope the company works on something that doesn't attract the squirrels.

Great addition to my deck

I bought the nautical curve back Adirondack chair. I'm so glad I did. The delivery was very fast. We put it together in about 20 minutes. It's definitely easier to put together with 2 people but it could be done alone. I'm so happy I bought it directly from Plywood. I went to a showroom and they told me they would beat the price by 5% but then assembly and delivery were more than the chair! I highly recommend buying it directly and assembling it yourself. It's really easy. I will be purchasing more.

The Best!

I was looking for adirondack chairs to put near my pool and liked the nautical ones with the curved seat. When they arrived, they were easy to put together and look fantastic. But once I finished putting them together, I decided to sit in one of them. Wow! It was so comfortable. I bought four to put around the pool but I liked them so much that I ordered two more to sit in our front yard as well. They are strong and comfortable. You'll love them.

Polywood Outdoor Furniture, an Outstanding Choice for Patio or Porch

I ordered 2 Adirondack dining chairs to replace the 2 Farmhouse dining chairs that came with the 2-chair Farmhouse set I ordered because I realized the Farmhouse chairs were very uncomfortable. I was apprehensive ordering 2 Adirondack dining chairs but found them to be a perfect fit for the Farmhouse dining table. I also discovered the entire Polywood research/ordering/replacement process to be outstanding in every respect, and I highly recommend Polywood outdoor patio/porch furniture to everyone. I also highly commend Polywood’s Customer Service Department because they were especially professional and extremely helpful throughout the initial ordering and eventual return and new replacement ordering. Also, since I am a retired member of the U.S. Armed Forces (30-years active duty) I sincerely appreciate that Polywood furniture is made in the U.S.A. - Thank you!!!

Nice chairs, but ...

We bought two chairs and the first was easy to assemble. The second had a couple of problems, and customer service was not available on the weekend. The back was completely missing screw holes on one side (see video). I had to locate and drill holes on that side. Also, the seat assembly from the factory was far too tight to receive the back, likely overtightened at the factory. On the first chair it was a very snug fit, but doable. No way with the second. I had to loosen the rear stretcher to get the back to fit, then retighten the factory-installed Phillips screws again. Quality control could be better, but once assembled, the chairs are pretty good.

Wanted to love, but less that thrilled

Wanted to love these, after much debate on where to purchase porch furniture. But, not thrilled our beautiful white chairs came with several inches of black marks on the seats’ surfaces edges which will not come off. We’re especially let down considering the price paid. Beautiful new white chairs with ugly black (inch deep) markings in several areas around the edges. How disappointing. Where are the quality control inspections prior to shipping?! Who wants to deal with repacking and shipping to return. Not a kind or considerate thing for Polywood to do …to allow these to ship out to waiting customers. They should have been new and perfect.

This set was ordered for our side patio and the same style chair as we have for our main patio, although our main patio is in Slate Grey and standard height chairs and the side patio is Sand color and counter height chairs. We loved the main patio set so much we ordered a pair of adirondack chairs with ottomans, side table and rocking chair for our porch and another dining set (in counter height) for our side patio. My husband wanted the counter height for the side patio, and I was a little reluctant, but have to say I love the height. It’s so easy to get in and out of the chairs and they are so comfortable. They were also very easy to assemble and look beautiful on our patio. In the pictures it looks a little odd to have four chairs huddled together, but as I mentioned, the 48” round dining table should be arriving any day. Also note the beautfiul slate grey set in the background of the other picture. I included a picture of our porch with the rocking chair and adirondack chairs with ottomans. We sure do love our Polywood!

Great sturdy chairs for poolside, easy to keep clean

These are roomy and angled nicely for sitting back. I love Adirondack chairs generally but many are not truly very comfortable; these really are. The curved back and contoured seat are designed well, apparently by people who actually sat in them. They do lean back quite a bit, so you are reclining more than conversation chairs, but I find them very comfortable. The plastic surface takes getting used to- however, cleaning these and being able to use them with wet swimwear makes them absolutely ideal. A quick wipe with a towel after rain makes them immediately usable, which a wooden chair would not be. I looked at several brands and lots of reviews, and Polywood stands out because they won’t stain. A few minutes every month or so with a soft brush and they literally have that glossy just-from-factory look, sort of like fresh paint. I’m very happy with the quality of the material.

Superb Product and Service

We purchased four green Polywood Nautical Curveback Adirondack Chairs plus a small 18"x18" side table to replace old, weathered adirondack chairs (not Polywood) that we'd had for years. The Polywood Nautical Curveback chairs are a couple of inches higher than our old ones, which is really nice as we're not as young as we used to be. Also, the green color is beautiful for our space.

Easy assembly and comfortable

Purchased this set of chairs for our new swimming pool sun shelf. After careful review of all comparable products, these chairs were the best choice for us. Some of the factors that weighed our decision were color choice, product warranty, availability, and value for the money. We were not disappointed with quick shipping and easy assembly. I used a ratcheting 7/16 box end wrench and a power driver with the appropriate allen bit. The chairs seem to be constructed well and have enough weight to keep them in place while in the pool. We did read that the chairs should be removed occasionally from the pool and cleaned to extend their life due to the exposure to the saltwater.
