Horrible Delivery Service...
I ordered this item to be delivered to my home address, but it was delivered to a completely different address. I have called numerous times in an attempt to resolve this dilemma, but I continuously encounter cutoffs resulting in more calling and research to find a customer service representative to help me. I will NEVER use Lowe's delivery service for anything in the future, as it is unreliable!!!

Worksgood on my chimney
A little pricey
In addressing a small series of penetrations', this tubed firestop materials allowed us to facilitate a quick repair and assure we meet the applicable code. I would highly recommend this product for related uses.
Not to messy. Did the job and match the coloring of the surrounding ceiling.
Blocks fire
Good product
I was shocked to find out when this arrived that it is for interior use only. Specifically states that this is water based so hardened product will liquify if it gets wet. Since most ares needing fire protection always has a possibility of getting wet, this product can not be reliable.
Easy to use and the color blended well with the color siding i was using it on.
I will buy this again.

Unfortunately the only rating I can give is poor because I picked it up in the evening and went to use it the next day but it was hard as a rock.
I recently learned that there are several versions of this. Something called "Fire Barrier", Fire Lock" and "Fire Block". It's all related to "time". One is good for 3 hours another for 3 days and another is permanent. Choose wisely.

Sealer
Did what was needed
I needed a filler to replace cracked seam where my fireplace box meets the hearth. Of course, fire resistance was a must. The sealant worked great. I'll have to see how it wears over time.
Easy to install
Easy to install. Will crack under direct heat for long periods of time.
Quick dry. Easy to use. Met expectations.
