DO NOT BUY

A nightmare ! Ever since purchasing the rug , my toddler and I started getting bites. Today I found that the rug has so many fleas ! We do not have pets. This is just so disgusting.

Crease and edge dangers!

The only good thing i can say about this rug is that the color is nice. The major problems with this rug is the raised creases that are causing tripping hazards. We have tried everything to get these out. The edges also curl up. I will probably return it. Either way i will not be ordering again.

Great shape for awkward space.

Love love love that there is an option with rounded corners. It really helped me fit a bigger rug into an awkward space. However, rugs.com, these are not oval, they are oblong, but who cares about semantics?

Quality rug at a good price

The color isn’t exactly what I wanted but that’s my fault, not the rug’s. It’s a nice quality and the price was right. Doesn’t lay completely flat after several days. Definitely requires double back carpet tape but that’s not a problem. All in all I think it’s a good buy

Beautiful Rug

I bought the oval and the rectangular rug of the same pattern. I was very surprised with the quality being the price was so low. The wrinkles came out of the oval rug but unfortunatelythe larger rug is not completely wrinkle free. I am hoping that over time it will smooth out. Overall the quality and price are wonderful and I would certainly buy from rugs.com again

Perfect size/great color

The size and color are perfect for our living room area. Easy to vacuum over. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is because it doesn’t lay flat. The pics don’t show it but there are “ripples” instead of it bring flat. Wondering if it might require sticky mat underneath. I have other rugs that lay flat & didn’t require anything to keep it from folding. See For the price though it’s fine. I’ll figure something out.

Open and lay out ASAP to get out wrinkles

The area rug is exactly as shown in color and design. Unfortunately, it is very thin. I ordered it back in February so I could have it on hand for my spring clean. I stored it rolled up in its original packaging until April. Big mistake! The wrinkles were set in. The carpet is now a trip hazard. I unrolled it, placed heavy items everywhere, some of the little wrinkles straightened out, but the two big wrinkles in the middle where the shipper rolled unevenly are set. I am hoping over time these work themselves out, but I have owned rugs previously, that never did.

I’ve had this rug for about a year now. We have two in our house and they’re both great. The low pile is nice because it vacuums easy. They don’t show dirt easily because they’re mixed color. Even the lighter teal color has some grey in it. These are beautiful and we always get compliments on them. I’ll probably buy this exact same rug but bigger when we upgrade. Great price, would definitely recommend.

Very Nice Oval Shape rug

I ordered the 5x8 oval shaped rug to place in living room to anchor sofa and coffee table together. I could not have been more pleased especially the price and very speedy delivery. The only issue I had was the color that appears as a mixture of brown beige, The rug is much lighter than it appears, Its more like a taupe and cream. After reading all the reviews I noticed someone did mention buying a room size rug and a smaller one but the smaller one was much lighter in color. Fortunately for me the lighter color does match my sofa just fine and I would not have gone through the trouble of returning it anyway. I will still continue to order more rugs as needed.

Nice for the money

The runner fits my hallway area almost pretty well, the brown coloring is muted enough so that it’s not overwhelming in this space, and I’m hoping the pattern hides cat fur. In the past I had the yellow version of this rug here, and I did like the yellow in this space. The runner needs something under it to hold in place, like double stick tape or a non-slip pad, because it easily slides around. As soon as it came, I opened the package and put it down, so it’s sill a little creased in the picture but over time that goes away. Since I’ve had one of these before, I already know that it does wear kind of fast.

Decent rug for the price

This rug is true to picture. It is a very short pile which we wer aware of. It is a little rougher than I had anticipated but again it's for a high traffic area so we're not too concerned. We ordered both an entry rug for the doorway and a large rug. The smaller rug seemed a little less quality than the larger rug if that makes sense. The edge stitching was not the best on the smaller of the two. It did take a few days for the rugs to lose their wave after being weighted down with items.

Update: The rug was a little different than the picture - it was more black than gray. I was planning on putting it in our family room, which has a lot of grey so the black tones it down a bit. The rug is still very pretty and soft to the touch. The 5x8 rug sits perfectly and flat. However, I ordered the runner to match and its been over 2 months and the rug is still all "wavy". I've tried everything to have this lay flat!! It has no use for me, I can't even use it. I am past the return policy (I was hoping it would lay flat by then) so I'm stuck with it. Therefore, I am only giving the company 2 stars. I

Great quality.

I this rug! The pattern and color are beautiful and look very classy. It’s a good quality rug with a good backing. It feels good on bare feet...,much like a cashmere area rug we purchased several years ago. It lays flatter than I expected after putting it down. I expected lots of wrinkles, but there are very few and they’re going down after only 2 days. I didn’t notice any odor at all....as another review previously mentioned. I would definitely recommend this rug!

I bought this rug for my kitchen. I looked a long time at a lot of rugs before deciding on this one. It is thin, but for the price that was ok with me. The brown is just right. Not too dark or too light. It does have more white or light coloring than I wanted in the background since it was going in the kitchen which is definitely a high traffic area for our family. But after a few months now it still looks good as new. I vacuum it a couple times each week to keep it nice. I've had compliments on the rug and am very happy with it.

This area was a fantastic buy! The color (burgandy) is true to the picture and I've had no trouble with creases or kinks. Right after it was originally unrolled, there was a small amount of curl on one end. I simply turned the rug bottom side up for 2 days and it is now completely flat. The pile is minimal but that's what I expected. I am not using a pad underneath. We had a coca cola spill the day it arrived but that spot came up by simply pressing a clean rag on it; the liquid did not go through to our wood floor underneath. I recommend this product without reservation!

I ordered two sizes of these rugs to coordinate in an open floor plan living space. The larger of the two a 9x12 was folded in half which was a bit concerning. Upon unpackaging the rug there was only one deep crease that we have hidden under the sofa. There is also a chemical odor from both, which is noticeable, but not super overpowering. I imagine in time and with some febreze he odor will disappear. The texture of the rug themselves is soft, but due to its thiness it is very easy to feel the backing underneath. This can give it the some went synthetic feel. I do have to admit I've gotten used to it and it's not as noticeable to me now that we've had it a few days. Both size rugs are lighter than the photo itself. But they are still lovely. Only time will tell how they hold up, but for the sale price it was a very good deal and I am pleased with the purchase. I would recommend to a friend on a budget that wanted something aesthetically pleasing. I would definitely not buy this rug full price, however. For both the 5x7 and 9x12 I paid just over $***. Less

This rug is exactly as they portray it. It has beautiful shades of gray from light to dark with pops of white That really sets it off. It is slightly more class than an average oriental rug, very easy to vacuum. I have a dog that sheds a lot and it is very easy to take care of. They say it is pet friendly and it is. I bought two 9 x 12 rugs, one for my dining room and one for my living room as they are beside each other here. This picture portrays the color beautiful. Thank you overstock, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. And what a great price!

We purchased the 9x12 size. One of the sides is not straight. I like the pattern and the colors are true to the description and images online (to my monitor at least). Depending on where you are standing it is VERY white/light colored. The pic is from the 'dark side'. The lighter colors are more of a cool taupe brown and the darker colors are still a cooler brown. Our couch has some red tones in it and it goes just fine. The white is more of a off white to my eyes than a cream. I'm giving this two stars because of the quality and plushness, or lack-there-of. I knew this rug was thin and needed a rug pad. Save your money! The $80 rug pad does absolutely nothing for it. The pile is so sparse that all you feel is the backing under it, even with a nice quality rug pad. I will keep it. For the price point, it's fine and it will get me thru the winter with a new build and dogs, i.e. muddy paws... I would not purchase again. I would put the *** I spent on both items towards a better quality rug. In my opinion this would be okay under a dinning room table. Just keep in mind that it is not soft under your feet. It does seem to vacuum well and it did and does still have a mild 'rubber tire' smell. We've had it about a week and it has laid flat pretty well. As others have said, it does come folded. In conclusion, if you are looking for a cheap, thin, not dense rug that vacuums well, this is your rug. If you want plush, soft and dense, pass on this one! Less

Purchased this rug to replace an old Safavieh rug we had. I was a little worried given the review but for the price, I decided to just give it a try. This rug exceeded my expectations and is on par with the quality of my Nuloom rugs at a fraction of the price . I've had multiple Savavieh rugs and never really was all that impressed with them. As for the creases, the rug I received laid flat in almost 2 hours and I put heavy books on two corners which flattened out over night. I do have a thick carpet pad under the rug which grips the underside of the rug which probably helped getting it to lie flat in such a short period of time. As for colors, mine is mostly grey toned with hints of charcoal. It's a beautiful rug and if I ever replace any of my other rugs, I will definitely try out Unique Loom again. Less
