High capacity storage for collectible coins

I use this cabinet for storing collectible coins in standard 2"x2" flips or envelopes, and marketed the earlier 18-228 version to collectors, calling it the Deluxe-4000 Coin Cabinet because it would hold 4000 coins. They redesigned the drawers with a slanted interior front and flat outer face, presumably to make fingering out small parts easier. This reduces drawer capacity and causes envelopes to tilt forward and be less readable. Wish they had kept the old drawer style as an option, but this is not their market. Very durable - have units in high use in our office for decades with no problems.

This cabine Treplaced a 40 year old cabinet that my husband found in the trash at his worksite 20 year ago and had used to store all his screws. nuts, bolts, pipe bits, electrical plugs, etc. He didn't know if he could find something like it so he refused to give it up. As soon as he got this, his old broken one went right into the trash.

For coin collectors

Perfect for storing large quantities of coins, as the drawers fit 2x2" envelopes or holders exactly with just enough room to move them about easily. It's part of a modular series with drawers of other sizes in the same frame, so you can probably get a unit with drawers that will work for rolls, slabs, proof sets, etc. I was a actually a distributor for some years and sold about a hundred units as the Deluxe-4000 Cabinet because it held about 4000 coins. They have since modified the drawers with a forward slope at the front to more easily scoop out loose "small parts" but this means envelopes lean forward and it holds about 10% less than the older flat-front drawers. Still a great alternative to cardboard boxes.

Small Parts Storage Cabinet

I already have three of these. They allow me to sort and store slides easily. I think they are great.
