Inconsistent quality

The boards I received were inconsistent in size, with variations of up to 3/4”. Additionally, some had unfinished edges, making assembly challenging and trimming necessary. Most boards were also thicker around the edges, which made it difficult to achieve a level surface and required additional cutting to correct.

What a difference!

This is a great product for under our vinyl plank we purchased here. It makes the flooring feel more like a real wood floor, no bounce or flex to the planks after this was installed under it. Can definitely tell when walked across. We cut pieces with a utility knife, no extra saw equipment needed, which was nice not to have the extra mess. Just a real nice solid upgrade that we are happy with so far!

We are in the process of updating one of our bathrooms. We used this under the new flooring, and wow, what a difference. I had never seen this type of underlayment before. One thing that I can guarantee, it that when we do the other bathroom, this is the product we will use without a doubt. Great product.

This is great quality underlayment that is easy to use and does as it says it will do. We used it under vinyl planks in our kitchen. It is reassuring that it has moisture barriers that will help with any spills or humidity in the kitchen. It is easy to lay out and cut when needed at the corners and ends of the room. The planks went easily over and everything is even and solid. It does seems to be quieter too when out dogs or kids are running on the floor. The quality and ease of this product made the floor replacement a much smoother job.

This came in super handy and just in time. 11 years ago when we purchased our home we had carousing ripped up and laminate flooring installed that already had underlayment attached so didn't need any extra. Aside from Rosen paper that's ask they used.

Used this underlayment when installing hardwood floors in my attic. I'm really happy with the quality of this underlayment - it laid under the hard floor very flat and made installation easy. Directions included are thorough, which also helped with installation. I also appreciate that this underpayment is made of recycled materials. As far as sound proofing, I'm very happy as well. When someone is walking in my attic, I can definitely hear some creaking on the main level. This underlayment has helped make it quieter.

Oh, I really liked the Quietboard underlyament. It was very easy to work with and I thought the installation of it was far quicker than the last time we did it. Last time it took us maybe 6 hours and this time, not so long. Loving the quiet steps!!! It's thicker than most of the others, and I think that's what gives Quietboard the edge over the others.

I decided it was time to redo the living room floor and begin with a good flooring underlayment. I decided to try the Quietboard flooring underlayment. I was pleased that this flooring underlayment is made in the United States, is thicker than the others, easier to lay down than the others, and is also made from recycled material. It only took an afternoon to install and it was quite easy. Since the installation, I have noticed a reduction in noise (walking noise dampened a lot) and I know the Quietboards are the reason that my living room feels much warmer now. I'm planning on installing them in other rooms in my house.

I bought a few months ago for my new house flooring and I’m happy so that I did. Its dense construction reduces impact noise and those annoying gaps between trim and flooring by raising the subfloor .

It’s solid and feels durable. Easy to work with cutting is simple with a utility knife. It kinda looks like carpet pad that’s been put under extreme pressure to make it rigid. I can see how it would dampen sound transfer through the floor. I was concerned about water issues. So I let water stand on it for a few minutes and it did absorb some but not much and it dried quickly. It does not appear to be made with materials that will mold or decay. Very neat product I will be buying and using it again

[Rewarded Review] This underlayment make the Floors quite and comfortable.

The idea behind the technology of the QUIETBOARD is good. It does really quell the sound of uneven floors, especially wood when used as an underlayment. It also can compensate for the uneven laying of vinyl or wood flooring. It has many advantages for our small world, it is all recycled fibers so that concept makes this company a better place to live. (they don't say what kind of fibers but I believe that it is mostly plastic or rubber fibers. Handling and installation are very easy since they are very lightweight. Also, it is very easy to cut to size. Overall a great product, but I believe that the price offered is a little too high for this product.
