Great little smoker. I take it camping. Use it as a grill and smoker. It's just the right size for my wife and I. Efficient as well. We can use it 3 to 4 times on just one fill up of lump charcoal.

I have 2 junior kamados, one for home and one for camper. Use them 2 to 3 times weekly. Great for whole chicken, burgers ,chicken thighs pork butts, corn on the cobb. lights up and ready in10 minutes. great product!

Gets Crazy Hot

I’ve had the Large Acorn and the Jr both great. The Jr holds a slight edge for my needs due to it uses very little charcoal and still cooks enough for two-four people

Full Ceramic - which is very efficient, and makes it comparable to the small kamados from more expensive brands. I can grill with it, or add the smokin stone to smoke (Great for small cuts like a whole chicken, or chuck roast, etc.). I could fill it with charcoal and cook with it all day while camping. It's portable, and very sturdy. Love that little grill.

I've had this grill for over 2 years now and all I can say is that it's amazing you can smoke a slab of ribs or a small brisket and the results are always perfect. It holds heat very well and is just the right amount of size for two people. My recommendation would be to get the stone to deflect the heat to make it a true smoker. The wood will last all day.

I have had this Jr grill for a couple years now and it is the perfect size for my patio and I love to grill on it as much as I can. It has a cast iron grill surface which I think cooks the meats to perfection. Would defrost recommend this grill.

I've owned this for a couple years. It grills great for smaller portions. I've tried smoking but always found the continuous adjusting of the dampers for proper temperature setting tedious. The thermometer stopped working pretty early so i had to replace it.

I have a friend who has one and they love it. I personally did not cook on it, but I can tell you it is a great product to have and cook with. From my experience the Akorn cooks very well and makes the food taste great. The offset smoke you can do on it gives you the experience you can have with a smoker and savors all the flavor you need. Longevity of the Akorn last when you properly take care of it.
