Definitely need 2 people to put this together, it goes faster %26 you need help putting the top part onto the bottom part. The directions were precise %26 clear!

Good quality, took a little bit of time to assemble but all the parts /pieces were there. It was like the old song ankle bone connected to the knee bone the knee bone connected to the hip bone etc…. It also gives options for the shelving.

Missing parts, still 5 star! Please read

The desk was missing the top rail when it arrived. I put the rest of the desk together to make sure that was the only piece missing. I contacted the seller who responded within 24 hrs and agreed to send the part. The part took a few weeks to arrive being that it came from china but they gave a shipping number so I was informed along its delivery. Part arrived and I was able to finish assembly. I'm not upset at all. Things happen and they corrected the issue professionally. Looks great, stong construction despite being partical board. Easy to follow instructions. Heavy box when it arrives.

Sturdy, attractive

Perfect for my needs. My sewing, art supplies and work items all fit. Love it. Took a bit to put together but the effort was worth it, especially for the price

Took 5 hrs but it's beautiful.

The instructions were fine for the most part however, they never tell you which direction a piece should be. I had to disassemble a few parts several times because a few pieces were backwards and I didn't know. That part got extremely frustrating but it was easy to correct. It did take me 5 hours to assemble by myself, would've been a little less if I didn't have to disassemble several times, but I absolutely love the final result. The power surge built into the table top is one of my favorite features of the desk. I highly recommended as long as you're willing to put in some sweat and tears.

the box is HEAVY. there are about 50 parts. i'm stubborn and out this together myself, but you need two people.

This desk is really nice. We were a bit overwhelmed when we took all the pieces out of the box, but the instructions are clear and very detailed. Took two of us 4 hours to assemble it, but it looks awesome! Very happy with it.

Fantastic Desk

The desk was pretty easy to assemble. Instructions were simple to follow, parts and hardware labeled clearly with no missing pieces or parts. The entire process went pretty smooth and the desk turned out exactly as pictured and quite sturdy. It even came with a wall anchor but chose not to use it as I feel it's quite sturdy on it's own. I would highly recommend this product.

Pleasantly surprised

To be honest with you, I've had bad experiences with Amazon furniture. But this one is actually pretty solid. Took about 3 hours to install by myself. Fits perfectly in the bedroom nook.Definitely recommend.

Weight of Package

I just wanted to leave a review here that the grey oak farmhouse style desk is extremely heavy (understandably). This product listing doesn't have the weight listed anywhere, and luckily I was able to find it after ordering from FedEx tracking to be prepared. It weighed around 120lb and I'm sure other apartment renters may have trouble as well.If you're looking for solid durable wood, its definitely solid lol. I haven't built it yet but the finish looks really nice and the solid wood should make for a long lasting desk. Mostly just wanted to mention the weight.

Desk/storage

This desk was super to assemble and seems durable and has been sturdy. I've moved from one room to another and it's held it's integrity.

This was fairly easy to assemble...two people make it easier, and I definitely recommend 2 person assembly. We had it put together in maybe half an hour. No missing parts. It is sturdy and feels pretty darn solid. The drawers, hinges and slider all work well. I like the outlets on the desktop, as it makes it easier to deal with cords than my old desk where I had to run the cords behind it through a gap and it made it a chore if I had to unplug them or add sometning. I like the hutch for storage. I really like the way this looks, too. It's a much better fit in my home office in every respect.

Surprisingly sturdy.

I got this for my wife because she jumped on the "farm house" bandwagon. We chose the grey one because it fit our décor better than the white one offered. This has the perfect amount of storage for her needs and works well for us. That being said, putting this together is a pain. No fault of this desk or instructions but anyone that's built any kind of furniture it is a pain. All in all, this was a great purchase and would recommend this to family and friends.

My Grand daughter in law loves it!

I got her one of those trendy metal computer desks and it didnt even last a couple of months. Probably because my 4 year old great granddaughter is a wild one with a lot of energy! But this desk is much more sturdy! We took it to her yesterday and put it together. Wow it had a lot of parts! But the directions had pictures and were easy to understand. It did take us several hours because it was 3 women doing it instead of one man. We did have a drill which was super handy. When it was all said and done it was a really good sturdy piece of furniture. Her deco is pink gray and white and black so it was a good decision to get the grey. All in all I'm going to say this was a good deal. I'm certain it will hold up so much better than the trendy metal ones. Never again on that one! But I am super happy with this desk and would definitely recommend!
