A 3 is subjective. Once assembled, it looks great, but when the binders for the torsion arms were cut, the right side connection to the front bar broke catastrophically, rendering the awning useless. Outsunny has been advised and I am waiting for a final resolution. I would be happy with the connector piece, but they SEEM to want to send me a whole arm. It might seem a whole new arm would be good, but this would most likely need more de-construction, adding to the time to construct the awning for use. Wayfair has been advised as well as I had Purchased an extended warranty and the awning failed on day 1 installation.

Well when we unpackaged the product the roller poll had a dent, the front rail had a dent and the plastics stripes to thread through the awning fabric was broken. We managed to put it together.

Product is exactly as advertised. Great awning for the price. Assembled easily and all necessary mounting brackets/bolts provided. Seems sturdy so far and works well. The awning opens easily with the manual crank - just a little tough to crank back in (that's my only reason for not giving it five stars, but keep in mind that could just be my own strength waning).

Excellent product. Works well once installed. Tricky Instruction manual, however; some odd nouns and verbs used. Some improvements to the instructions on certain pages would help a lot.

The product itself is nice. The parts are aluminum, so tap or hammer gently. They will definitely bend. I used a wood block so I wouldn't bend the ends. The instructions and pictures leave a lot to be desired. Pay close attention to where they want you to stand when they refer to left and right arm and when rolling the canopy counterclockwise. You need to stand in the back of each piece, not facing it for the left and right arms to unfold correctly. Once the piece is assembled, it weighs roughly 60 pounds. You must have 2 fairly strong people to mount it to the wall.
