I wanted to like this product, but don't. The ground level doors keep opening. I'm sure critters are to blame, but shouldn't a garden product like this be designed to keep critters out.

I would definitely buy this product again

I'm pleased with this purchase after having shopped around for quite a while. It's larger than I expected which is good and will accommodate sizable quantities of kitchen and yard waste. I look forward to opening the lower doors to see fresh compost soon.

This is a serious composter!

Really well engineered, made in Austria, and will last a long time; looks handsome, like you'd expect a pro kitchen-composter would. Recommended!

Sturdy, well-made composter for our small family. Thought it had a base, but even though it doesn’t, it still sits very evenly and heavily, so we have no worries about it blowing over or being “invaded” by rodents from underneath. Thanks AeroQuick!

Well the quality and heft was excellent, and the bin was easy to assemble, BUT the bin is not raccoon-proof. Critters easily lifted the bottom doors and scattered contents everywhere. I finally had to drill multiple holes through the composter and use wire fasteners to keep them out. If you make these adjustments it’s a good compost bin. If you don’t have power tools and you are not handy you could possibly use gorilla tape to hold the doors down.

Seems to be composting well!

I just got this composter in late summer. It seems to be working great. Lots of critters where I live which has been a challenge. It's not as sturdy as I thought it would be, but I'm a beginner at this so I also learned the compost needs ventilation. I would buy it again, or consider the rotating composter as well. Thank you!

Very well made and engineered. I've had a cold frame from the samscompany. They are serious about providing products that match what you pay for them.

It is in my garden, unobtrusive, Have quite a few fruit trees, so utilizes the fruit that falls . No more smelly trash to take out, just kinda neat to have a nice compactor.

The only complaint I have is that the doors on the bottom front and back fall off very easily. There is nothing to keep them securely in place. There is a top hinge that barely keeps the door in place. Unfortunately, I would rate the unit much higher if this was not the case.

Delivery was speedy & assembly was easy. I was looking for a heavyweight plastic for stability and to block animal access. It is substantial, secure & will block the possums that have been frequent visitors. I was disappointed that it did not have an option of a secure bottom or an internal screen for filtering. Thru other comments, I learned that a bottom was available from the supplier & ordered. This will be week one of operation.

Easy to assemble

I selected this composter based upon its ease of assembly, price, quality, and customer reviews. I put it together last weekend in about 20 minutes without any special tools or skills. I just added the first lawn trimmings and kitchen scraps a few days ago, so it's too early to determine its usefulness as a composter. So far there is no odor even though it's August and hot outside, and there's no signs of undesirable critters being attracted to it. I think it should be fine.
