Great interactive toy/treat dispenser for smart cats
Bought this to give a high-energy 8-yr-old (again, apologies to everyone I ever told "cats slow down by the time they're a year old") something to occupy her little brain.
A fun feeder and interests my cat
This only slows my cat a little bit. She figured out all the tricks right away, but she likes it and it's more stimulating than a bowl. I had to cut the dry food I give her way back as she was getting chunky, so we only use this occasionally now.
One cat has no patience for it, the other loves it
Both my cats live cat treats. One of them, a dedicated mouser, engages with this toy as soon as I even start to put the treats in. She always gets all the treats with her persistence and is getting better at it. The other cat has no such attention span. He walks away when he can’t figure it out off the bat.
Fairly easy
Good challenge for a cat that needs more mental stimulation.
Cute interactive treat finder
Cats seemed to lose interest after 1 month. Store it for a while and then bring it back out.
good item
I tried this one on my young cat that eats too fast. He got bored with it when he wouldn't get food items fast enough. My other cats tried it but also left it alone. My senior cat Rick figured it out right away and found and ate all the cat nibbies quickly. I will leave it out now and then. Maybe the young cats will learn from the elder cat. who knows.
I like the idea of this, but it won't work for us.
Both my cat and dog figured this our quickly. I watch their weight carefully, and this dispenser is too easy. So I took it to the Thrift Shop at Church for some lucky cat to enjoy.
Looked like an interesting puzzle.
I thought she would enjoy it but so far she hasn’t touched it.
Sturdy and practical
Loved that it keeps them entertained while they work out how to get to the food. It keeps them happy when I go to work and they usually always come back to it during the day when they want to eat more.
Cats love it
Both my cats love this and it keeps them entertained. Bigger than I expected, but fits a good amount of food/treats.
Keeps them involved
My cats find all the treats and it keeps them busy getting the treats.
Neat way to get their noggin working.
Our girl cat figured it out before our boy cats.
Cats love it!
Cats love it and it’s great that I can change the places the food goes so they don’t get bored.
Too easy to figure
I primarily use this to give a few treats to keep my 2 cats distracted before I leave house. One of them tries to bolt out of the door when I open it. When I first got. I thought they'd need some time to figure it. One of cats solved this quickly. There are leaves that they have to slide over to get to the treat, that one is easy, but there's also small red "cups" with holes at the bottom. The treat is put into the cup, and the cat has to slide the cup forward to push the treat into an indentation, then slide it back to get to the treat. They figured it out pretty quickly. It still occupies them for a while, so overall worth it.
Cats love it!
I am trying to get as many of these as I can because my 3 cats will fight over them. I have 4 now, which seems to finally be enough (you'd think 3, but apparently not.) All three of them love attacking these puzzle toys and trying to get the treats out. This ladybug type is the favorite, I have two of them and all 3 cats were able to figure it out.
4/4 cats give it 5 stars :)
My cats (and I have 4 of them!) ALL love this treat puzzle! I usually just use their kibble + some freeze dried mini shrimp puffs. It keeps them entertained and busy for quite a while and they always get all the pieces out with time. You can also make it more or less challenging depending on how you arrange it. My favorite cat puzzle we own!
she loves it!
challenging for her, keeps her entertained.
Good level of difficulty
Not too hard, not too easy for my cat
My cat thinks this is the cat's pajamas
My cat loves this thing. I mean, she loves treats regardless, but she really seems to enjoy the process of getting to the treats. The puzzle has multiple degrees of difficulty, which is good, since she's figuring it out quickly.
Who is the smarty cat?
I hid treats in cavities while 2 of my 3 cats watched intently. But they could not figure out how to slide the leaf aside to get at the treat, so I left to work. When I got home, all the cavities were empty, and I have no idea who the smarty-cat is!
