I found the two floors not straight. It is important to place them between 2 2x4s and put weights on top and wait till they are straight. This will make it easy to assemble.The floors are not straight the way they are placed in the box. But the directions say that doesn't matter, but that is not true. I put 2 houses together.

Product has one flaw.

Fantastic Martin house that is very durable. The weakness of the structure is how the roof fastens down. It is not trustworthy. Please improve that for the product.

Fast delivery

I was replacing the same type of bird house since a storm damaged it. It was easy to assemble and was a little larger than the old one.

flimsy Purple martin house

this birdhouse is very flimsy. We also could have went to S %26 K manufacturing and got the same thing $20 cheeper. We were both very disapointed in Walmart.

My Purple Martens love it. That’s the main thing, and very cute.

This product's assembly is very easy, good clear instructions. The pole works excellent. Lowers all the way so you can clean out the martin house while standing on the ground. I would recommend these two items to anyone wanting a martin house.

a big bird house

the product was a little difficult to put together - required 2 guys to figure it out. The pole was not included so we had to go and get one. It is decorative and the birds do like it.

12-Family Purple Martin Birdhouse

I'm impressed with the ease with which this product goes together. The instructions are very well thought out and actually make sense to a typical consumer. The product seems to be well contructed. Time will tell if Purple Martins will be attached to it. Since the house REQUIRES a special pole, they should be sold as a package with the option of separating them.

A great product

I love our new Martin house. This is our second purchase. The ice storm in Ky. destroyed our first one , however, it was several years old. This one is identical to the one that was destroyed. It was very easy to assemble and looks wonderful in our backyard.

It went together easily because I followed the directions step bt step(for a change). Seems solid once it is together. I like the fact that it is relatively light.

Pretty Disappointed

I expected the birdhouse to be more sturdy than it was. I admit I was concerned when website did not disclose what material it was made of, and how inexpensive it was. Made out of very thin, flimsy plastic. Hole for pole is triangular. My pole is round, and was not informed that I needed to also purchase pole or an adapter kit. You are instructed to trim some pieces to fit during assembly, and I was leary that I would actually break it putting it together.

Beautiful Product

I bought this as a gift for my mother and she assembled it in about 15-20 minutes. It's so pretty too. She loves it.

Quite a few parts, but goes together quite easily. Not put up yet, but I am sure it will do the job.

Better off with gourds

We purchased a house that looks exactly like the one above, with one modification; our house has 14 rooms. The extra 2 rooms are in the roof. I am rating as a 3 (middle of the road) given I am sure this would be a great product for some, just not us. The product is "average", not spectacular.

Purple Martin House

This house looked better on paper than on the pole. It seems a bit flimsy (corrugated plastic), and wasn't that easy to assemble. It is supposed to lock into the pole, but mine seems to be pivoting around. I should probably take it back down and check it out, but don't want to disturb the birds, none of which are purple martins, sadly. Overall, I think I could have done better, although it has survived the summer.

I have had the house up for almost 3 months, the martins have visited. Nice product. Recommended to anyone looking for a great purple martin bird house.
