Tin nopener
I've only given it 2 stars as I had to go round the tin twice and it still wouldn't open properly.Maybe I bought a dud one. Will stick to my old hand one in future!!
Waste of money
It’s ok, expensive for what it is. After opening a one tin. It did not work probably on the second tin. Not happy about it.
Joseph Joseph compact can opener
Love this can opener, the compact look is what deove me towards it. I've had it for 3yrs now, it is worn out and I need a new one. Everyone in my home loves it! The price for it has come up! I wonder if I should buy another for back up.
First rate opener
Perfect and compact . Good design . Would highly recommend.
Useless
Utterly useless. Grips the lip of the can but when I turn the key it fails to cut into the metal and merely produces fine metallic swarf. I have contacted JJ to return/ exchange but so far no response.
I’ve thrown my other openers away!
Works really well, I’ll never buy a different can opener now. So small and compact. It’s light and very easy on the fingers.
Hmmmph
Useless. I can't see how it works at all. And the order was mistaken. I was sent two, and missed out on the Joseph long handled spoon with holes. Wasted order.
Effective tin-opener - a handle would make it easier, but this does the job
Nicely & safely opens tins, though it take a bit of getting used too as there is no handle. Once we're used to it though, the compact design will be a plus. Our previous (Magic-can) opener was awful - we'd had one before which was great but the new one was so frustrating we looked for alternatives. This Joseph Joseph one is excellent thankfully.
Joseph Joseph Can-Do Can Opener
Nice and easy to hold and turn the opener. Great for arthritic hands. Easy to release the lid by pushing the button firmly. I find it easiest if the lid is still level with the top of the can. Highly recommend.
Very disappointed
Bought this tin opener a couple of weeks ago, it has already stopped working. Very disappointed with the poor quality of this item. Definitely do not recommend.
Ni e little invention
Great little device for opening cans. Never used anything like this but once you have the knack it's fab
Easy to use can opener
The best can opener I have ever used. So easy to use,no having to have a vice like grip and so easy to turn . A great price and quick delivery,I would definitely recommend this product.
Compact
I reason I bought this type of opener is I’d had the other types over the years. It was initially a bit fiddly to work the can opener, but once I got the hang of it the opener is speedy. Removing the can lid also took a few moments to get the hang of it. Looks quite good and small enough to fit in any gadget drawer.
Best can opener I’ve tried yet!
I’ve tried several different types of can opener to suit my arthritic hands. This one is definitely the best one yet. It’s compact so it takes up little room. Once you get the hang of getting in the right place, it turns easily and slices the top of the can. The only thing is that it’s hard to keep hold of the can especially when it’s small, like a tuna can. And you get a bit of leakage from the can as it opens.
Poor product
Very disappointed, this is very difficult to operate especially if you do not have a lot of strength in your hands. Couldn’t get it all the way round top of tin because the tin sides went inwards and afraid I would get cut
Easy to use. Suitable for left-handed and right-handed users. Quick to remove lids. Best tin opener I've ever used!
Too difficult to operate!
It’s a lovely idea, but, aged 83, with little monsters ted strength, I can’t manage to operate it. I am considering returning it to Joseph Joseph.
Legitimately changed my life
I've used it 3 times but boy this makes me excited to open cans. No more do I dread the uneven cut, unsatisfying and jagged, threatening mortal injury when I have to resort to a complex system of levers to pry the cans apart. My heart sinks now when the only tin option is a ringpull. And it takes up less space in my drawer!
For some reason I thought
For some reason I thought this was battery operated as did my wife and its not. The only reason we purchased it was due to arthritis so for us its not any better than any other manual can opener on the market.
A useful tool that works well
Very easy to use especially if like me arthritis is causing problems with fingers and hands which makes using a conventional tin opener very difficult, But do beware of the opened tins, as the cut off edge is very sharp and will easily cut your fingers
