Very poor quality. The casting left undesirable trash on the product and it was painted without removing, I returned it to my nearest Home Depot without a hitch!

Very heavy umbrella base! Some of the black finish was discolored with a white powder like stain, but we decided to keep it because it isn´t too noticeable under the table.

Glossy black finish

The stand seems very sturdy and holds our umbrella nicely. However, the finish is a glossy black and shows many imperfections. I had to sand down and spray with a matte finish so it would match my outdoor furniture. End result came out beautiful.

Use indoors

Overstock's silly app refreshed and erased my detailed review. Sheesh. I painted it black. It blows over with 7.5' umbrella with a slight breeze. Low quality. See pics. App has trouble with pic uploads. Double sheesh.

Meh. Heavy-ish. Not gonna hold a substantial umbrella with winds over 20 mph. Also. The pattern was embedded with styrofoam. A soft metal if during the shipping the product was imprinted. Oy.

This base is really beautiful! It goes so well with my brown chairs and beige umbrella. Its quite heavy and has withstood the high winds we tend to get here. In addition, there are holes on the perimeter for further stability by pushing rods into the soil. Great price, great product!

A nice quality base and easy to assemble. However, at 24 lbs. it is a little light. We had some wind gusts at 30 mph and the umbrella blew over easily. Also, a round base is easier to tip over than a square base. It does fit into tighter spaces, which is good with my patio furniture.

Good solid heavy base. I got a great price for this and the quality is much better than I imagined. Shipping was fairly quick. I’ll repost review if I notice any rusting. But so far so good. I would order this again, especially if it goes on sale ;). This is on my front porch where it can get a bit windy and very rainy. So far, it’s been several weeks and the umbrella has stayed put and doesn’t lean. We close the umbrella in windy days but with my last base we had to lay it sideways so it wouldn’t blow over. I’d recommend this and I will be ordering another for my back porch.

RUST. We bought this about 3 weeks ago. Since then, we have had several summer rain showers. Within 2 weeks this base started to rust to the point that it looked terrible on the visible part of the base and left a circle of rust on our new concrete patio. Also, only weighs about 10 lbs. This will be returned.

This umbrella stand is very nice. The scrolling is very attractive and my umbrella fit in perfectly with the sleeves provided. However, it was too light - 24 lbs. I have a 9’ umbrella and live on a river. One big gust of wind came along and lifted the umbrella with the stand and my table! Luckily no damage but I need a heavier base. This would probably be fine for a smaller umbrella in a suburban setting.

While there isn't much to say about an umbrella base, this is a quality piece. It is heavy enough to hold the umbrella in place and the open weave allows for both air and water to flow through easily, keeping the base from leaving a stain underneath. I would recommend and purchase again.
