Initially, I thought this dish was going to be another little cheap thing that I could throw in my kitchen and find some use for it later. Then, it arrived in the mail and it was heavy heavy. Took it out of the box, and it was very durable. I didn't want to chance it by putting it in my cabinets to get broken by the kids, so I took it and put it in my home office as a tray to hold my decanter. Just received today. Scissors are for size visual. Small defect as shown on the lip of the plate. Beautiful matted color. Can use for numerous food items. Haven’t used it yet, but looking forward to using it!
