Not Very Functional

This is a pretty throw, but, not very functional. For decoration only. It snags easily if you pull at it.

Beautiful throw

I have purchased 3 of these chunky throws-gold, sage, and rust! The colors are so rich! This is so soft and warm! I love that it can stretch to cover 2 people! I can’t believe the price!! You will be so happy with this purchase!!

This is a beautiful blanket. It was a gift and she was so excited to receive it. The color was amazing, the weight was impressive. Very impressed for the money.. its a must have.

Poor quality disapointed

Blanket is oddly small even for a throw and is poor quality. I thought that it would be nice yarn but looks almost like polyester. Not what I expected for this price point.

What a cozy blanket! We purchased the olive color to use as a throw on a master bedroom remodel. The only complaint is that it can be tricky if you get a foot or other appendage stuck in between the knitting. Its not tight knit due to the style, so functionally I'm not sure how long it will last if used to cozy up with frequently. But for the looks and texture, we are happy.

Too Thick and Low Quality Wool

I purchased this throw for my dogs, because they love to roll around in sweaters. I found the knitting gauge to be too big, so the throw is just massive. It lacks grace and the thickness compared to the overall size makes it seem chunky and clumsy. I ended up donating this throw at Goodwill. Even the dogs could not use it really because their nails snagged in the loops of the wool. I have seen other chunky knits, and this one is not a good example of the idea. It is cheap and I do not recommend it.

This throw is made of acrylic, not cotton, which is what I thought when I ordered it. I prefer natural fibers, and most of Riley's products are made of those. Not this one, however. I found it scratchy and so I returned it.

Beware, this is not a natural fiber throw. It is made of acrylic. I was completely taken off guard--I thought the NYTimes Wirecutter was recommending this brand for its natural fibers and comfortable textures. Riley needs to be more upfront about its materials--the content was hidden on a dark panel and not part of the normal description. I wished to return this throw and was told I could not. Very dissatisfied customer here.

Great Gift but now I want one too!

Ordered this in blue for a gift. Beautiful shade of blue and so soft and cozy. It's a nice chunky style with and open weave that will look great arranged across a bed or in a nice basket in the family room. Ordered this in blue as a gift. I want one too!

Who doesn't love a big chunky blanket? The smell was a little overwhelming when it was first opened. A little time to breathe and a trip through the washer took care of that. It's so stretchy but soft and SUPER thick and cuddly. Let's be honest, it looks incredible draped over the chair, which is exactly why I bought it. The dog is also a fan of curling up on this blanket.

Great throw, wish it was a little bigger.

This throw is much warmer than it seems. It always surprises me because when I grab it to put over my legs it feels so light and I think I'm just gonna have to get up to get a real blanket anyway. But no! It always does the job. Only complain is I wish it was a little bigger. You can wear it like a shawl, or throw it over your legs on the couch, but at 5'9" it's a literal stretch to use it as a full on blanket.

Not exactly what I expected, but it is fine. It isn't quite the chunky knit blankets I have seen elsewhere. It's a nice sage color that will go well with my sunroom. I will keep it in a basket instead of displaying it on the chair as I originally planned. I wish I had spent a little more for a better quality product.

Not as “chunky-knit” as it looks in the photos. It’s also very prone to fraying. Within the time of taking it out of the packaging, and throwing it in the dryer per the instructions that came with it, it had already started to build up some “fuzzies” on it. However it is very soft, and heavy, which I like heavy blankets. This does make it harder to style though. While it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, it still works for me so I will not be returning it.

Beautiful, soft throw!

I purchased this throw to go with a gorgeous Donna Sharp quilt set. The throw is generously sized with a unique chunky look and best of all, incredibly cozy and soft. The rust color is true to the description picture and looks wonderful with my new quilt. Looking to purchase another one in a different color. Highly recommend!

Really not impressed with this chunky throw. When it arrived, there was something wet and oily all over it, it's super small, and not what I was expecting. From the photos, it gives the appearance of something soft and warm, but it's rather rough and I won't be using it with whatever substance is all over it. Love the Red color but disappointing.

Not as nice as I hoped.

This blanket wasn't as heavy as I thought it would be. As someone mentions in an earlier review it's like hallow tubes that you have to fluff up. There was a big ugly knot right in the center of the blanket. Like they started the blanket from the middle. It was supposed to be a gift and I would be embarrassed to give it to someone with a knot right in the middle. I sent it back.

This blanket is so soft. I purchased it to go in the lounge/reading room. But my kids keep taking it and using for themselves. I will most likely be purchasing additional ones so they leave "my" stuff alone. I purchased the red one one sale. Hopefully they will be on sale for a little bit longer.
