To shallow

Does not hold enough water literally have to refill every day and the birds can not bath in it, to shallow.

Heated bird bath

This is my second heated birdbath. It's smaller than expected but, consequently, much nicer, looking on my deck. I love watching the birds in the heated water during the snowy winter months. A beautiful site, plus, birds need more accessible water sources in winter.

Works well, looks good but cord way too short

Easy to assemble with good sturdy options for installation on deck or post. Right size and depth for birds to enjoy. Heater works well. However the cord is only a bit over a foot in length defying any way of powering it to any logical power source location. Since the instructions said NOT to use an extension cord, we had to disassemble the unit and change out the cord to a 6 foot. If the unit came with a 6-foot cord it would be perfect.

Great Heated Bird Bath

Perfect size and depth for birds to feel safe going in and out of. My cats, squirrels and chipmunks also love drinking out of this. Now I get to enjoy watching nature during the winter time drinking water.

Warm water, sub zero winter

Certainly has improved this atypically cold winter for the birds.

I would buy this again if needed.

It's taken me a while to do this as my outside outlet wasn't working. Now it is and I'm very pleased with the bird bath. Birds and squirrels drink from it. Fun to watch. One day the whole edge had little birds on it.

Requires daily Refill

This is my first heated birdbath. I sat it in on a large flowerpot next to the garage within 6 feet of where I ground feed. It has been extremely cold in Iowa with temperatures dropping below zero. The birdbath is shallow and requires filling daily to prevent drying out in middle and ice formation around the edges. It has been in operation for 10 days and I have yet to see a bird or squirrel use it. Birds still fly to my frozen summer birdbath 10 feet away. I am hopeful they will eventually start using this birdbath. I would have rated this product excellent, however, haven't observed it being used.

Bird approved

So far the resident Gold & Purple Finch population in my back yard have been very appreciative of this bath/waterer. Mounted on a post near the feeders, I've noticed it being used frequently already without it even being cold yet and other water sources still available. This being said, I haven't had to plug it in yet, so we'll see how that goes once temps drop below freezing. As far as fit and finish it seems like just the right size if you're looking to provide a simply water source for birdwatching near a feeder or two. It appears to be a well thought out design of nice quality with adequate installation hardware included and several mounting options. The inner pan is easy to remove from the ring/holder for cleaning or maintenance. It is a small birdbath so I envision adding fresh water at least once or twice a day once winter really gets going. The only recommendation I have is if you have a lot of birds visiting more than two averaged size feeders I would go with a larger capacity bird bath. As for my two feeders it seems like it's about right for the quantity of birds I have visiting.

Fantastic Heated Birdbath

Love the 3 different options for attaching and easy to set up. The birds were using the day after I set it up. I received my order in a very short time. Also received emails letting me know the status of the order.

all seasons sounds like below zero okay

I live in Minnesota with a large number of below zero days. This is when I need a reliable heater. I just got it now so I am hoping it will work for the birds.

Great Beginner Heated Bird Bath

This is a great bird bath that is heated. I gave it to my Dad for Christmas and he loves it, simple and easy to "install". I would recommend this to anyone who wants to start out with their first bird bath, and it's heated, too!
