Love it!

I love our new rug. We ordered the 9 x 12 in the color gray, dark gray. It really brightens our room. It looks to be made it a very high-quality materials. It should last us a lifetime.

Beautiful but fades fast

I have owned this rug for over a year, and even with routine cleaning, it does not look the same as when we first got it. I can hardly see the blues and tans. The other reviews stating there are odd lines with vacuuming are correct. It looks very old and worn out. It is a gorgeous design but quality is missing. I love Safavieh products and will continue to purchase from them however this is one product I cannot recommend.

On unhappy customer

Do not buy this rug. The dye appears to only show in one direction which is a defect. I have bought polypropylene rugs over the years and I have never seen this type of rug before. The others were dyed well and held up for years. This one is going back and I have to pay for shipping which is not fair as it is not as advertised.

Soft but strange coloring

The rug is a pretty pattern, but very thin. Lots of pros and cons to weigh if you're interested. The pile has a very lustrous finish that catches the light and washes the colors out almost completely from one angle and then from the other direction, the pattern is very bold. Also, the photos are not even close to the actual colors. The gray rug is much darker gray than I thought. The cream isn't strong enough to offset the gray. The cream beige is also not as warm as the illustration either. It's much grayer than I expected.

Very disappointed with this rug. It is so faded and washed out it looks white. What little you can see of design is inconsistent in the nap or pile. Very unhappy with the purchase.

Beautiful oriental rug

This ornamental large rug purchased for my dining room is just perfect, from the texture to the colors, I couldn’t be more pleased. There was no problem with the rug flattening out after shipment. We vacuumed it and turned up the house central heat to help it relax. Thanks so much!

Buy a rug mat to hold it in place on hardwood floors.

Am very happy with this rug. Purchased the hallway runner because I needed some thing on my hardwood floor with some color. This fits the bill! After I unroll that I did have to put some carpet tape on the corners, but in due time it did flatten out.

This area rug looks very nice, even a bit elegant. However, the ends started to roll up after a couple of years (even where it barely gets walked on). It still looks very nice though. It has held up to large dinner parties for the past 3 years, so I just used carpet tape and now it perfect again. Oh, if you like the chair fabric, I bought that on overstock too.

This rug is very pretty, thinner than I would have liked, but a rug pad helped. My only complaint is that it states that the color is dark gray when actually it is more of a blue gray. Luckily it worked for the room, but if you are looking for a dark gray, this is not it!

Isabella Pietra rug

The rug is pretty but it looks almost white if you rub it 1 way/vacuum it 1 way. It looks like dusted white spray paint on it in certain light. I was a bit disappointed. And it’s very thin.

Another great buy, at a great price, I bought this rug to complement the Safavieh round marble top table I recently purchased on Overstock. The dark and silvery grey tones are perfect, yet, as some other buyers mentioned, the direction of the pile may appear like large pale areas. Nothing a vacuum cleaner can’t fix.

The pattern is beautiful.

Nice rug. We used Safavieh in a lot of our renovations/decorating. Its one of my go to brands and I'm rarely disappointed when I do. The pattern is beautiful.

Not what I expected

The rug looks really good...good colors and tones, but when I walk on it, the fibers move and my footprint is left (white). I had to brush the fibers to get the nice tones when I rolled it out, but they did not stay and like I said, if you didn't walk on it, there's great gray tones and looks so pretty. Once the feet touch it, it shows white footprints.
