faulty parts

my wife purchased this lock set, and we had a lock smith install the locks. The screws kept stripping, the lock smith commented that the components were not very good quality for how expensive the locks are. The fitting that is supposed to go around the dead bolt doesn't fit, and the key is so large I am not able to rekey with the rest of my locks in my home. I have rekeyed my locks numerous times, and this was the first key that was not compatible.

instructions lacking, ext latch doesn't work right

I bought this solid looking set. install instructions were terrible (written vaguely, no diagrams) after following all and googling, it came to pass that the post on doorknob to latch each side, wasn't sufficiently long on either side, installed the alternative (too long!). so the interior hw sits ever so slightly away from the door, could be fixed with a mm less length post or with a gasket maybe. but not a huge deal. The bigger issue is that the thumb latch doesn't work correctly (it pulls the catch in but doesn't release the catch). etc. to take this further as she told me to do. Because i don't want to deal with her again. I'd rather just deal with the inconvenience of having to fudge the door every time. And btw, i did call a locksmith to check my work and make sure it was done correctly (it was) and he couldn't get the latch to work either.
