The 12 in. Ceiling Shower Arm in Chrome is a great addition to my ceiling shower head, it give 12 inches of comfort, les splashing everywhere, it was very easy to install, looks fabulous, I will recommend anyone that is doing a ceiling shower to use this arm, it is very handy, I am looking to do a remodel and because the shower is kind of small, I am going to have the shower head in the ceiling!! thank you

The 12 IN. CEILING SHOWER ARM IN CHROME is 12 inches of substantial bathroom bling! This piece is very heavy and most likely overkill in quality for most installations and makes for a pleasant surprise for one when ordered online and you are unfamiliar with what you might be getting from the postman. The threads are well cut and deep~ I didn't even need to mess up the cosmetics with pipe compound~ Woo Hooo !

This 12 inch shower arm is a top quality product. If you're doing a complete remodel or just want to replace a shower head and refresh a bathroom with new fixtures, you can't go wrong with Grohe in general. This shower arm comes with everything you need to get it installed, which is mainly the teflon tape. The design of this shower arm is smart too. The threaded end is flat to let a wrench better grip the arm for tightening and making sure there no leaks. If you're uncertain on how to remove an old shower arm and install a new one, there are plenty of DIY videos out there. This is an easier DIY task for most people.

Not the companies fault but mine, I got the wrong product, i may be able to use it on another job but for now not much to say ecxcept that it looks good, feels durable and looks like the label say what it says it is but will not be able to test until I purchase the rain head that goes with the arm for it. My wife and I had a new shower built in our master bedroom. It was perfect, except for the fact that it was too long for the water to reach clear across to the other side. The solution: Add a second shower head. And since there was no wall to attach it to, we needed to make it a rainshower shower. We already had other Grohe fixtures, so this was the perfect match. It's super simple and easy to install. It simply screws into a drop ear elbow on one end, and then the shower head of your choice can be used. It's a little pricey for what it is though, but it is is very solid.

If a chrome 12” downspout for a rain shower head installed in ceilingis what you are looking for, look no further. This is a well built, extremely sturdy downspout. The downspout is easily installed. Like any other shower adapter. Wrap threaded ends with Teflon tape and screw in. It even has flat spots for you to tighten with a tool as to not scratch the finish. I am very happy with my selection. I recently obtained a large rain shower head for my master bathroom and after installing it I learned that I needed to extend the head to fit above the middle of the tub. I found this foot long extension for the shower head and it places it in just the correct location. The chrome finish is perfect and matches all of the other fixtures. Large rain shower shower heads are useless if they are not aimed straight down and most shower arms are to short to do that. Most extensions are 6 to 8 inches and that is still not enough to fully enjoy the rain effect. After installing my 12 IN. CEILING SHOWER ARM IN CHROME by Grohe, I can fully appreciate the therapeutic feel of showering in a tropical rain shower! Very DIY friendly installation. Solid brass with escutcheon. Pricey, but it is Grohe, you get what you pay for.

Non-standard mount

I used this arm for a horizontal application with the Danze D451159 8" Rain Shower Shower Head with Arm Extension and 1/2 Inch Connection. It matches the design and puts the head over the drain in a 42"x42" shower.

Great versatility!

Hard to find piece from a great brand that can work with any other shower head!
