I've had this for 17 years
It still looks great but reading the reviews I'm thinking it must have changed over the years. Mine arrived in one piece. No putting anything together. I've moved with it 6 times over the years and it is still perfect. I can't believe you still have it for sale! It is a beautifully carveddesk and those are lions not Gryphons.
elegant looks great in the library
Incredible detail.
Extremely beautiful! Very well made. The only improvement I would suggest is a thin piece of plexus glass to protect the mahogany top from scratches. It seems as though everything is in stock except for the pieces I want. This was back ordered 3 times. But then I'm known for having 0 patience.
Beautiful table but some assembly issues
The table is beautiful, looks better than the picture and arrived very well packed. I would give it 5 stars except that there were absolutely no assembly instructions and one side of the table did not fit properly into the slots for it - had to shave off a couple of millimeters in order to make it fit. For a piece of furniture this pricy, this was very disappointing. After managing to get it together, it looks beautiful in my study.
