Overall, the table is a solid structure. I like having two types of shelves: 1 for books and another for decor. Just be mindful that while it is metal, it can easily dent if you're not careful while building. It may also come dented but HD is great at working to resolve this if it happens.

Nice coffee table

The color is truly black. It is kinda hard to assemble at first because you have to assemble it on its side. It was a hassle putting it together on my carpet floor. Other than that, it really does look nice. Wish it came perfect though because there was small scratch marks on some areas. Would not recommend cleaning with chemical products. Just a damp rag.
