Very attractive toaster with all the basics

Enjoy this toaster as it does all I needed it to do while looking interesting! Love the styling and color (turquoise) I would caution that there are small bits of styrofoam on slots that I didn’t see when unpacking and unfortunately discovered through the smell! I was able to clean it up and it didn’t impact the functioning.

Watch out for excessive emails from this company

The The toaster was fine. I just didn’t like the color but warning William Sonoma Will send you excessive amounts of emails and they also must sell to pottery barn and all their other affiliates as I am bombarded with emails daily

White toaster with copper

Very attractive. Toasts evenly on both sides. Simple to use. I like the cancel button if you want to stop toasting before the cycle is complete. I really like the defrost button. Very simple use. Love it!

Horrible Toaster

I have been using this toaster for 2 months. It does not work, it does not pop the toast out and continues to cook indefinitely on the "1" setting, leading to charred toast that is smoking. We have discontinued use on this toaster as we are now worried that this is a fire hazard. I purchased this toaster to replace a 15 year old Cuisinart toaster, not impressed with the quality and defects in the toaster. While this is moderately priced, I would expect this to work longer than 2 months. Upon reaching out to Crate and Barrel , I was told they would not offer a replacement or return. If C&B won't back the item, then I have serious doubts on the integrity of the brand.

Great Toaster!

Loved this Haden toaster! It looks great and toasts perfectly! This is the second toaster I have purchased from the Haden company and would do so in the future! Great product!

Why You Want This Toaster

The toaster looks amazing in our kitchen. It coordinates with our appliances and copper sink, is sleek and light and works well. I like the fine adjustments for the light/dark, the button to easily stop toasting, and of course the separate bagel option.

I had already purchased a Haden coffee maker, and wanted to try these other two appliances. So far, they are an improvement over what we bought them to replace. I especially love the electric tea kettle. Heats up water quickly and efficiently. The toaster is pretty straightforward, and looks great on the countertop.

Loving this toaster so far. It looks great on my counter - I think the images made the accents look more copper - they're definitely a rose gold. I only glanced at the manual to make sure I didn't need to do anything special before using it the first time, and it said to use setting 3/6 for a "golden brown" for most bread. Gotta say it was true to form, it's toasted consistently well and hopefully will for years to come.

FIRE HAZARD

IT CAUGHT ON FIRE! Literal flames shot out of it. It’s maybe 2 years old. Please dont buy this. Or at least pair it with a fire extinguisher.

Lovely to look at.

Love this toaster for its beautiful design and color. However, the second time I used it I pushed the 'frozen' button and am unable to disable the button. But I use a toaster only rarely and just push the item being toasted down twice to achieve the result I need.

So disappointed!

I really wanted this one to work. I've been searching for a new toaster for over a year. I've been searching for one that has a toasting level knob that clicks in place not slide. I saw the 4 slice Haden toaster in Macy's and it had the knob I want and it looked beautiful. Then I saw that QVC had the two slice so I ordered it. Unfortunately, the toasting is so inconsistent! No matter the toasting level I choose, it sometimes barely toasts, or only one side toasts or toasting is uneven. I just can't accept that. Guess I'll be hanging on to my old one a little bit longer.

Don't Make The Mistake I Did

I like to think I'm a pretty savvy online buyer. I read the reviews for many toasters including this one before purchasing and consulted reputable review sites. Most of them had a few issues submitted for basics or nightmare stories like "this toaster doesn't toast", "the lever is broken out of the box", etc. I thought there's so many positive reviews, this is a reputable brand and there's no way this could happen to me. Turns out it can happen to you and Haden does not really have any interest in quality control or a quality product. The lever did not function and you could not toast toast right out of the box. Kind of incredible. This toaster cost north of 60. How does this happen? Other feedback, the toaster looks great on the website matte / chrome aesthetic, etc but it's cheap and plasticy. There is almost no metal in it and it weighs almost nothing. Does it seem like something that will last and justifies your purchase? Respect to Williams-Sonoma for a fair return policy they gave me zero trouble over it. Never again on a Haden. Buyer beware.

Prettiest toaster on the market

The Haden toaster is absolutely beautiful and is offered in several different colors. I was very pleased with the design and quality of the toaster. My only complaint is that the space allocated for bread, bagels and English muffins is not sufficiently large enough to accommodate bread that is larger, such as rye or bakery loaves.

A Hole in the Paint!

Arrived with a small hole in the paint on side of the toaster. The manufacturer (apparently) tried hide it by putting a dab of paint over the hole. Thinking the glob sticking up was just extra paint, I scratched it with my finger and behold the paint plug came off revealing a hole in the paint below. OMG! I kept the toaster as I am loathe to waste time standing in line to make a return. I put the "hole in the paint side" to face the wall. Heritage really needs to do better considering the high price of this toaster.

Harden Heritage Toaster

The Heritage toaster is a nice looking toaster adds a bit of flare to the kitchen! I purchased the cream color and is a very nice complement to everything in the kitchen. It toasts well, bread and bagels come out nice and evenly browned but not burnt. The only downside for me is I wish that the numbers on the control dial were bigger and clearer. Otherwise this a a really nice toaster.

Great toaster. I wanted a toaster that I could leave out on the counter and not mind it being there, without sacrificing quality. I had a cuisinart toaster last 10 years before this one and hoping this brand will last for some time. I've been using it daily for 2 months now and it provides strong heat and works well for toasting sliced bread on the number 1 setting.

Lovely on Counter but...

The shape, color and dimensions are perfect for my kitchen. It was hard to decide as all the options were beautiful. On all those points it's a 5 out of 5. My concern comes from burning toast on the lowest setting of 1...on one side. Why the uneven toasting and why even on the lowest setting. All reviews have been wonderfully positive so this must just be a one in a bundle defect. Tried to use in reverse from right to left slot but exact burn on one side. I will keep for a while and let it settle and try other than one piece of bread at a time. Any advise, welcomed.

I LOVE this toaster. It's the best toaster I've ever had. It also looks very good in my kitchen. It works perfect. Toast, bagels, defrosting, etc. It does it all. It also toasts accurately the way you program it so you don't end up with burnt toast. Push button pop-up is a great feature too.

Modern and Efficient

Although I already own a Breville convection oven with a toaster setting, I was thrilled to receive this toaster because I wanted a quicker way to toast bread. The look is sleek and modern. It is definitely a cute addition to our kitchen appliance lineup. I first tried it with some homemade bread similar to French bread, and the toast came out perfect - warm all the way through with a great crunch! I kept the toast setting around one and a half and thought it worked wonderfully! This review was written by a full-time Overstock employee.
