The Horow White Fireclay 30 in. Single Bowl Farmhouse Apron Kitchen Sink Workstation is a gorgeous addition to any kitchen. The Horow sink is pure, bright, sparkling white. The glaze on the sink is brilliant and compares favorably to the clear coat on a luxury car. When you tap the Horow sink, it produce a clear bell tone like expensive porcelain. We like the grid that fits in the bottom of the sink and keeps iron skillets and such from scraping the sink. The Horow sink is a heavy, weighty piece. We are happy to provide this for a Victorian renovation.

Now this is a nice Farmhouse kitchen sink ! I love the clean white Porcine look and at 30" you can clean some big pots and pans in this one and with the bottom grate its better protected from scuffs scraps and chips if you accidentally drop something heavy in it.This can be used for new construction or your existing cabinet can be altered for a retrofit. I know because, as a cabinet maker, I've done it. At 80 lbs it's heavy, so be sure to get help mounting it. The last one of these I installed, to be on the safe side, I used 2 x 4's attached to each side of the cabinet to set it on.

I have a cabin that I'm working on and my desire is to keep it as rustic looking as possible. So far, none of the sinks that I've looked at have had that rustic look so I was glad to find this. Most have been porcelain or stainless. Then I saw this sink. This sink can look either rustic, farmhouse, or modern. As it turns out, it will be just perfect for our cabin. The 30-inch design is perfect for the space it's going into. Make sure that you have 2 people to handle this because the sink weighs almost 75 pounds. It's well-built! We think that this style will make it look like it was there your years and years. The manufacturer's instructions are very clear and actually provide suggestions as to the mounting. They show 3 examples of mounting and which ones are recommended: (1) Mounting it so that the lip of the sink sticks up above the countertop which they call build-up; (2) Flush-mount where the top of the sink and the countertop are even and (3) Undermount in either a farmhouse configuration or fully enclosed configuration. The under-mount option is the only one that they recommend. Also, it comes with an upgraded sink strainer with a built-in pop-out basket. I'm going to install this over the weekend but I wanted to show others that might be interested in it, what it looks like before it gets installed. One last observation before I stop: This sink would be perfect in a modern home with infant children. I could easily double as a bathroom sink for bathing little kids, rinsing out clothes, washing hair and even cleanup after painting projects.
