These were easy to install and they look wonderful. Definitely add a dimmer switch if you don't already have one.

Nice upgrade

Great retrofit for old "eyeball" cans. Easy to adjust, install and fit tight on our slanted ceiling.

Not easy to get flush against the ceiling

Over sold, installation for 5/8" dry wall ceiling was not as easy as described, You have to really work or re-engineer the spring arms to get the unit to fit flush against the ceiling.

Easily installed by this girl. Better quality than the lesser priced brands. Also solved my overheating switch problem by replacing some higher wattage halogens. Wins all around. They are less bright than the halogens, so do recommend heeding ceiling height recommendations on these.

Attractive, versatile fixture with questionable QC

This is an attractive light, it works nicely as a retrofit, and the gimbal functionality is is very useful. If you're installing one on an angled ceiling, the gimbal allows it to be pointed straight down. And even if you're installing on a flat ceiling, the gimbal allows you to direct illumination to the walls where artwork or photographs are displayed. The quality of the light is very diffuse and soft. The color of the light isn't amber but it is definitely not cool either. It offers a nice balance.

Not what stated as

This light was declared at 65Watt equivalent and 2700 K light temperature. So, if you want the equivalent of an incandescent OR 65 Watt light, this is not it, as the manufacturer declared.

Great Upgrade

Upgraded to LED to save money and refresh the old ceiling light fixtures. Couldn’t be any easier! Just remove old bulb and fixture ring then screw adapter into the bulb socket, connect ground wire to can and reinstall with spring clips, done.

Easy Install and works great

I was able to use the torsion spring mounting clips which made for a hassle free install. I can't speak to using the friction blade install though. Light color and output is about what I expected.

Got these to replace older tired fixtures and we are very pleased with the results. The installation was easy and quick and faster than the removal of the old lights,about 10 minutes each.

Needed an LED replacement light for the foyer. Much brighter than incandescent that was previously installed. New Halo RA LED was easy to install, done in under 10 minutes. Perfect fit and easy to adjust to angle needed.

Work great. However the trim ring is a little small to replace 6 inch lights and didn’t cover the original area. This resulted in having to paint.
