Ordered 6, Got 5

Ordered 6 at $2.36/ea but only received 5. Customer service told me all they could do was refund me for the missing trim and now they're $10.48/ea. Total rip off.

I think I will like them when installed! I need to paint ceilings first ;)

Trim rings were a good quality and fit well. Spring tension was excellent pulling the trim ring tight to the finished ceiling for a clean look. Shipping packaging was excellent as they were individually wrapped with cardboard spacers to prevent scratching. Even though 12 trim rings were ordered not one scratch or blemish was found on any of them. I have ordered quite a few items online with Home Depot now with the ship to store option and have been extremely pleased with not just the product but the communication with my order status. Products have consistently shown up ahead of their estimated arrival time as well.

Do not order this the description is all false

The description on this item said it is a 5 pack it's not. I ordered 2 5 pack items and received 2 single light trims. And they are not 5 inches either the pack say 6 inches.

Only item I could find to fit in 30 year old baffles. Looks great.

Made it work.

5 inch is what I needed, but I had to cut it to fit my old can light. Then cut and removed the spring clips and finely glued it in place. It turned out great. A lot less work than changing the whole fixture.

Not 4 inch

I ordered 12 of thsse and they arrive with a box that even says 5 inches yet Lowes markets them as a 4in. They will not fit a 4 inch recessed light fixture.

Baffle for outdoor light

I have some very old outdoor light fixtures that needed touched. I bought the white trim recessed light trim after trying a couple other alternatives - this worked really well - went into place with only a little effort.

They fit perfect and they look great. The little metal arms however that hold the trim in place inside the can were stiff, so it took a few tries to get them in place sometimes.

I love this trim and have installed 16 of them on new 5" Halo lights. If I had to have one, my only complaint is that the bulb does not usually sit precisely in the center of the housing. In other words, the bulb tends to hug the right or left side of the fixture rather than hanging directly in the middle. It is not a huge deal or something that most folks wound even notice. But if you want the bulb to be precisely positioned symmetrically in the middle of your new recessed light, it might bother you.
