Track spot mounting

We removed and older ceiling mount spot and added a this track spot to match over the sink, and used this easy fixture. The only issue we ran into was the holes provided, lined up with the only holes available in the box. So, we did an intermediary round universal crossbar plate sandwiched between them - you may need this in older construction. It's be nice if the fixture was provided with a universal plate, but was not a big deal to pick one up locally. Easy to install Needs an inner ring plate with varied hole options.

This provided exactly what we needed - a base for a mono-point track light to provide a spotlight on our favorite art.

A bit bulky but...

The item is a bit bulky, I do wish it were a bit more streamlined. Also, it would be nice if the silver screws were black to match the rest of the item. I had to paint over those screws. Otherwise, I was very pleased with this product. It was extremely easy to assemble and install.

Looks great over my dining room table. I am buying three more for my kitchen counter

Exactly what I needed.

This brushed nickel canopy adapter replaced the current white adapters I have. The adapter is plastic, not metal, but the finish is fine. Very satisfied.

If you want the adjustability of a track light, but not the track, this is the device to use. It is great for accentc liighting individual items

Great product for track fixtures

This allows for a track fixture to be used in a stationary location without a track. From a distance this looks like a quality product but it does not feel as sturdy as the round one that is sold for the L series track I have ordered. Once it is on the wall/ceiling it does not matter. Using these in place of track will allow me to use track fixtures in several areas of mynew home where a track would not work.

Great looking single point track head mount. Use only one track light fixture to put light exactly where you want it!

good value- needs better mounting hardware

THe canopy is nice. The mouinting screws are too short for most applications and will send you to thte hardware store

Critical component

Very useful component for building small portable halogen accent spots -- lampwire, plug, and utility box from the hardware store, this canopy adapter, and an inexpensive H-track fixture, and voila! Two have worked perfectly out of the box.
