This can opener was a disappointment. I get irritated using this. You have to work with it to get the can just right to operate it . Bad choice

The can opener fell over when I took the cord out for the first time. The magnet snapped off. I have always loved Hamilton Beach but this was a design flaw. ( I have to add that the reason it fell over when I tried to pull out the cord is a black twist tie that I did not see. Had I seen it, the can opener would not have suddenly fell over and maybe it would still have a magnet. But the can opener and knife sharpener work fine). I tried repeatedly to let Wayfair know what happened. I was unable to finish anything. I was sent the vendors info and found I could not load a pic older than 2021 to their email. So I sent it anyway letting them know I could not send the picture and how upset I was that I am unable to do what hey needed and felt there is a design flaw. They blocked me. So now I feel like they do not care. I think if you want a magnet on your can opener, do not buy this one. The can opener works. Just plastic magnet holder is not going to stay on. Any bump or hit will snap it right off. I feel like everyone dropped the ball. I am not used to this kind of customer service. Wayfair has always stood behind what they sell. This time. I do not know what happened. I have always come to Wayfair first when I shop. 98% of all my reviews are 5 star because they deserve it. When I find product issues that I know will drive others nuts, I point them out. Good working can opener. Just forget the magnet. The pic shows the piece that snapped off so you can see if you are willing to have a can opener that this will not stay on. But can opener works fine.

Its beautiful

small footprint, all metal working parts, sleek/modern look...works well. The only "con" is the fact that the cut top is dangerously sharp.
