[Rewarded Review] Love it!

It's really pretty and neutral. Looks like the photos, was happy to see it reads lighter with the white thread detailing bc some jute rugs look much darker in person. Good quality jute, not super itchy under your feet. Some other reviews mentioned a strong odor upon opening, but thankfully we didn't experience that. it ships folded into quarters in a box vs the standard rolled up in plastic which I've never seen before, but doesn't really make a difference- just noting.

[Rewarded Review] Terrible rug and terrible customer service.

Do not buy this rug. It smells. Yes, rugs have an offgassing. I’ve bought rugs my whole life, but this one smelled so wretched. I opened windows. I put bounce sheets all in the room. I got a headache from the smell. That is after derived six weeks after they said it would arrive. They actually were going to refund me, the amount I paid, because it was out of stock. They told me it was out of stock, and the next day I got the message from FedEx saying that it was being delivered. Well, yes, it was delivered about three or four weeks later. And now they expect me to pay to return it. It’s stretchy. It doesn’t hold its shape. But worst of all is the smell and the terrible communication. They told me they would let me know if they would waive the return fee, and that was seven days ago. No word whatsoever. Also, it’s not charcoal color. It’s downright black and tan.

STAINS WITH EVEN WATER

Do not buy this rug! I never leave reviews but felt passionately enough about this to share. If you spill ANYTHING wet on this rug... anything... it will stain. Even water. It’s almost like the wetness makes the dye in the darker part of the rug bleed and then it leave a horrible mark that you can’t get out. Trust me. I’ve tried everything. Also, this eliminates any ability to clean it. Do yourself a favor and don’t buy.

[Rewarded Review] Smells like mildew

I am so unhappy with this purchase and with the customer service from Rugs USA. Immediately after taking this rug out of the packed is smelled horrific. Like mold and mildew. I left it outside in the sun for two days and brought it inside. I closed it up in a back room with the window open for another day. Still no change in the terrible smell and now my entire house smelled like a musty, wet rug. When I called Rugs USA to return it they said they wanted me to air it out for 3 weeks! I basically had to argue with the guy and tell him there was no way I was living with the mold smell in my entire house for 3 weeks. I was charged $55 to return this item.

[Rewarded Review] Beautiful addition to our newly installed hardwood floors

This jute bend rug, natural color is a perfect addition to our living room as we just installed hardwood flooring. The natural color of the rug and the flooring complement each other. The quality and workmanship are very good. We also added a premium pad to prolong the life of the rug and protect the floors.

Just what we wanted, great runner. Does a good job for the purpose we bought it. The only issue to note is the dimensions on Home Depot’s web site was inconsistent between the actual site and the detailed product description. The dimensions on the site described it both as having a with of 2.5 feet and 3.0 feet. The actual measurement is 3 feet.

[Rewarded Review] Amazing color and soft texture

The perfect handwoven jute rug is perfect. I searched and searched before making my purchase. I am so pleased with this purchase. I ordered the 9x12 and the 6’ round in natural (color). These rugs are in the same room and really pull the space together. The jute is woven with cotton for added softness. I like this better than jute only, as it gives it added dimension, softness, and a lighter color. This rug pairs well with neutral and light grey decor. I love it so much I am going to order another round rug for my kitchen table.

We love our new rug! It really pulled together our coastal bedroom. The quality is so much better than other jute rugs I have purchased. I love that it is blended with cotton. It’s beautiful and softer than plain jute. I’m super happy with this rug!

[Rewarded Review] Best. Jute. Rug. Ever.

So, let me start by saying I had this exact rug with the white cotton thread for several years. It held up very well but the white cotton was next to impossible to keep clean. This time I got the one with black thread so that won't be as much of an issue. I like this one way better!!! It has a much more textural appearance because the black contrasts with the jute more. I'm ordering more of them now in different sizes. Fabulous rug, trust me on the black version!

[Rewarded Review] Stretchy

This rug looks great for a textured look but it is very stretchy, lightweight and moves way too easily to be used with young children. Even as an adult walking into the room it would bunch up. (This was even with another rug on top and furniture weighing it down on many sides. A rug pad may help but I'm not convinced it would completely resolve the issue.

Would not recommend

Unfortunately, I’m disappointed with this rug. After a small water spill, it developed a stain even though I dried it thoroughly. I didn't expect that to happen so easily. Also, there are quite a few pulls in the fabric that I’ve had to trim, and while they can be cut off, it’s a bit more maintenance than I anticipated. The design is ok, but the quality just doesn’t hold up as well as I’d hoped.

It Really is Perfect!

I had purchased a washable rug from another company and never again! Thin, wrinkled and shows every spec of dirt. And it was $$$. I bought this jute blend rug to try in its place and it’s fabulous. I laid it over the washable until I have the energy to remove it! This rug has just the right amount of color variation I wanted, is comfortable on bare feet and doesn’t shed. I’ll be buying another one soon. Highly recommend!!

Just OK...

I had high hopes for this rug but it’s not good for a dining room rug that will get spills on it. It’s a pain to clean and it moves every time you move the chairs so there’s constant buckling of the rug. Not to mention our cat thinks it’s a huge scratching post! We have had the rug almost a year and I’m ready to toss it. I will say this rug is very pretty but would only use it in an area that gets little to no traffic.

Rugs make everything better!

I live in a studio apartment. Our small town has taken many of our older buildings and renovated them into beautiful living spaces while leaving them with much of the original look. The twin sisters who purchased my building had a vision! My space was “the jail” in the 1920’s! How awesome is that! My Jute-Blend rug gives my open floor plan such a homey feel. It looks fabulous with the background of the old brick walls. I am still searching out a few more things from you to complete my look! Thanks for helping me as I continue looking for other items at Rugs USA.

[Rewarded Review] LOVE!!

I love the natural texture and look of jute rugs but absolutely despise the constant shedding. This is the perfect combo of a woven rug but still has that natural texture and feel of jute. And since the jute is woven it sheds FAR less than regular jute rugs. I’m going to purchase another one for the family room!

Love this rug!

This rug was on backorder and took almost two months to arrive, but it was really worth the wait! It laid flat immediately after unrolling it and the jute is gorgeous, not too yellow. It is also rather soft for a jute rug and the edges are smooth, not wavy. Very easy to clean and my robe vacuum doesn't get stuck on the corners! I bought this one for under our dining room table to help protect our wood floors from the chairs moving in and out, but I honestly might purchase another one in a larger size for the living room. Great rug at a great price.

Beyond my expectations!

This rug is perfection! It is the perfect neutral natural texture to add to any room. I wanted something pet friendly, soft underfoot, and with texture. Often I find jute rugs to be too tough or too smelly, but not this one. It laid flat almost immediately and is such a cohesive base for my room. I wanted the room to feel light, bright and clean… this hit the mark perfectly!! Wish I could figure out how to upload photos bc I’ve never loved a rug more!! (I got the natural color but for some reason it’s showing as the blue in my review)

Natural.

Natural fibers which feel soooo good under bare feet. I was concerned the dye wouldn’t hold up under cleaning, but I’ve had the fortune (misfortune?) of needing to bust out the carpet cleaner for a dog accident on this rug. I will state, that I didn’t go absolutely crazy with the Bissel and that the waste water did acquire a bit of blue dye tint (I also used a shampoo called “ZEP”)…. the rug held up. There isn’t any discoloration after the clean.

Beautiful, but the edges never laid fully flat

This rug is very pretty & cozy. But the edges never laid flat. It came folded, which I think damaged the integrity of it. It should’ve been rolled. Be careful vacuuming and don’t use the roller on the vacuum because it will affect the rug and start unraveling in some spots. Otherwise, it’s sturdy and beautiful.

Jute Blend Runner

The jute blend runner I ordered came quickly and was the perfect size for my space, which I have learned from experience is not always the case ( dimensions were accurate). The runner suits the space ok. It’s in my entry hall and seems durable and comfortable at the same time. I’m not sure it looks like I was expecting though. It’s more cotton than jute, so gives a lighter, casual appearance. It will do for now.
