Great gift

Purchased for granddaughter to take to college. Easy to assemble and transport. Is sturdy, comfortable and well made. Looks just like picture on website.

Started to Break First Use

Cushion and wider pieces of rattan are strong. The little pieces that support the cushion seem like they are made of cork and broke the first day and now just keep continuing to break. Don't recommend buying unless they improve the quality.

First off it came protected in the packaging which is nice! It was pretty straight forward to put together! I like how it had a poly finish so you won't get splinters! This chair will definitely be more sturdy than my older papasan frame. It did have a cracked piece but it won't affect the structural/ or quality of how this chair will be! I definitely recommend buying this.

For my son

I bought this chair for my son. He’s living in his first apartment while attending grad school. It’s lightweight and will be easy to move once he graduates. He really likes it and thinks it’s comfortable. We also bought him an ottoman to match.

Good price, decent quality.

Good price for the product. Decent quality too. Putting it together was easy, it’s just that some of the pieces like the wooden dowels are prone to breaking so be careful.

I've had this papayas for over 4 years. It's still in wonderful condition. It is extremely comfortable and a very good size. My family loves it, my guest loves it and I love it.

Comfy at first, but not anymore

Initially, for maybe about a year, the cushion was great. But after time, we can now feel the frame of the base thru the cushion - not comfy. The fabric has stayed nice, though.

Great deal. Plenty of colors to choose from.

More assembly than expected but it was worth the effort. At first I didn't think the bowl pieces aligned, but then I switched a couple of them and it worked. I like the color, and the quality seems good! I used the packaging strings to attach the bowl to the base. I find the chair comfortable.

Overall the chair is nice but try another company!

Before buying this chair I read the reviews hoping that I won’t be one of those people who received a defective item. Firstly there was a delay with shipping the chair. When I finally got the chair and unboxed it it seemed as if it was a store model or something that they found, wrapped it and shipped it to me. There were scratches and dents all over the wooded frame. I reach out to the company automatically regarding the issue and they had me send photos of the scratches and dents. They decided that the defects were “MINOR” and only wanted to offer a $15 discount. That didn’t even cover the taxes of the chair! Absolutely NO! Very ridiculous.

Excellent chair, cushion could be thicker

Overall, this is a really nice chair. It came in earlier than expected and was pretty easy to set up. The coloring of the cushion and chair was exactly as pictured (I got the purple cushion). To reduce the sliding and shifting that comes with this style of chair, I used zip ties to anchor it (saw this is another review). It works really well and I'm not worried about accidentally tipping over. My only con at this point is the cushion isnt as thick as I'd like. I use the chair to read and if I dont sit in it just right, I feel one of the bars. Overall, great chair. Would recommend.

Order with the ottamon for comfort upgrade.

Overall satisfied with purchase. We ordered the chair and ottoman in the color sage. Unfortunately the ottoman is made from a different material making the color contrast. The cushion on the ottamon is more of a velvet type material rather than cotton, making the feel and color slightly different. The color contrast is more noticeable in person than in the photo. Our teenage sons (whom we bought this for) enjoy it though. It is very comfortable to cuel up in. So far it appears quite sturdy. My husband and teenage sons are roughly 200 lbs each and sit comfortably in this chair. Even with the color difference, I would highly recommend getting the ottoman as it makes sitting in this chair MUCH more comfortable.

Sturdy and as pictured.

I bought two for a small screened in patio. They came well packaged. The chair has to sit in the largest part of the base, small side down. I had to google that. There wasn't any directions. To the person who said they needed fasteners, they don't have them and they don't work that way - but if you didn't know they are wide side up, you may feel they are not sturdy. And if you wanted to secure them for extra safety - you could. Mine are fine as is and of course the cat hopped in them 5 seconds later giving her seal of approval. I got the cushions elsewhere as I wanted indoor outdoor fabric cushions.

Super-easy to set up

This came packaged very well, in a massive box, with enough thick ribbon tied throughout each & every spool. As soon as I brought the base into my bedroom, my senior kitty followed, intrigued. The thick ribbon will last us forever; he absolutely loves playing with it, chewing on it (probably even great for his teeth)...I placed all of the excess underneath the completed chair (cutting off a long string for play, right now)! SO easy to cut the ribbon (and two twist ties) with scissors, place the base wherever and set the pod on top, easy peasy. I highly recommend this product & couldn't be happier. Plus, not only did I get an incredible chair for myself & for my kitty, but tons of ribbon (as play toys) for him as well! A win-win for us no matter how you look at it!
