Disappointed

First let me say that I love this rug and have ordered it before in smaller sizes. This time, the very cumbersome 12 x 18 has so many trouble spots. I know sisal is natural isn’t perfect but this one is in rough shape. The photos explain better. I am overwhelmed with the process of returning such an enormous tug.

I really liked how fast this was delivered... two to three days. Very nice quality rug and just what I wanted. Highly recommend.

I love the carpet, but why was it folded and not rolled for delivery? It’s been very difficult to get rid of the creases!! Any recommendations?

Sisal is better than Seagrass

Has a cheap feel to it and extremely hard to lay flat.

Looks pretty but flimsy. The jute is cracking and poking up after only 2 weeks. Wouldn’t buy it again.

Love it!

This was a great purchase for our laundry room. We have a door to the outside in our laundry room and I noticed that the tile grout kept getting dirty. This rug was the perfect solution, it looks great, helps to catch any dirt from the outside and is easy to vacuum it up.

I really like this rug. It smells outdoorsy, and gives my MBR an Asian, coastal, midcentury look. The cat is trying to scratch it - I'm trying to discourage her...

The rug was not up to the quality of other seagrass rugs that I have purchased online from Home Depot. This rug was much thinner than the other seagrass rugs I have purchased from Home Depot. The pile of the rug was not woven tightly and it started to breakdown soon after I placed it on the floor, after 20 days it had started to have holes form in low traffic areas, so I returned it to the local Home Depot.

Used as a stair runner. I got two 14ft runners for 16 steps. With two big German Shepherds, seagrass is the only material that holds up for years never looks dirty, never stains. The weave is not the best, I used a glue gun for some pieces of grass that weren’t woven in completely. It worked great. This weave is better than the herringbone weave, because it’s easier to bend over the bullnose of the step. I was lucky, both rings came from the same dye batch and matched each other perfectly.

Good mat, but…

Like this mat a lot. Seems well made and is attractive. However it came rolled up with the sea grass surface to the inside which makes sense, to protect it. But we are using it as a kitchen mat by the sink and the corners have not relaxed so we are constantly tripping. Finally took it outside and hosed the heck out of it and it is about 85% better now. Maybe one more hosing!😄 Anyway, nice mat as soon as you can get it to lay flat!
