Quality not up to par as the first one I ordered.

Very disappointed with what should be a beautiful rug. This is the 3rd one I've ordered over the past 7 yrs., but the quality, color, wool fiber, the edges of the round rug not finished properly. Was actually lighter weight than the one I have now. They must have changed the production of this in China. Sadly returning it.

I was afraid there was too much purple in this design but really there is not. It is a nice muted shade of purple and the background is beige/tan not yellow or orange as some of the pictures show. The flowers are beautiful and looks very pretty in my bedroom. My only concern is the borders are not hemmed or do not have a sewn border. But it seems to lay flat and has even edges. The stitching is well done and so far it has not pilled or shed from vacuuming.

This circular area rug is beautiful, however it 'puckers' along a 2' portion of the circular edge causing a 'bump' appearance within that area. I'm hoping that as it is walked on, this will correct itself by perhaps stretching a bit. It is not worth the time and trouble to repackage and return since I will cover the area with a table if it doesn't eventually lie more flat with wear. The colors are beautifully pale (not dull, just not vivid) which matches my tropical decor.. A caveat might be that it should not be used in a well traveled area secondary to the light coloring. Overall, this is a great purchase.

I love this Safavieh hard-cooked Paradise Blue wool runner rug. I love orchids and was looking for a rug to go with my Hawaiian tropical theme I got going for my bathroom. The colors blending together are so beautiful. I feel like I'm in Paradise! The quality and price is also Great! Shipping was fast to Hawaii! I will definitely shop again!

The color and sizing are not accurate on website

The pattern on this rug is pretty and detailed, but the colors are off from visual pictures of it on the website. The blue was more dull gray, periwinkle, than the blue as pictured. For me, the worse part is the measurements are off. It says 5'3" x 8'3" on the website, but as another reviewer mentioned, it's really 5' x 8'3" which makes this area rug kind of longer and skinny. I thought it was a one off on that review as each rug is unique, but the 2" really made a difference to me regards to how my furniture needed to be placed.

Because I read every single review regarding every sized rug in this tropical pattern, I knew the colors may be more muted than the hot colors on my computer monitor. So I was not "shocked" when my beautiful area rug unrolled to reveal very "pastel" shades. The greens are numerous and beautiful. More yellow tones than not. Pale mauves, and various muted shades of pink. Having said this I will add that the quality is superb, the carpet is tightly hooked and I am entirely happy with this inexpensive purchase. The rug is well worth the money!

This rug itself is beautiful, the hues of pinks, purple, yellow, orange, beige and green are lovely and bright and I love the large hibiscus flower. The manufacturer would have benefited the consumer by placing a border around it to help the rug lay flat, however. The edges are still quite curled and I have resorted today to placing heavy large candles on the edges hoping the rug will lay flat soon. I gave only 3 stars because there is no border around the rug which may be because it is a remnant and the edges are still very curled presently.

Good value

The rest of my living room furnishings are very conservative and subdued, so I wanted something to "pop". When I saw this rug, it reminded me of one of my grandmothers and the type of rugs she had in her house in the 50's. The selling point that tipped the sale was that the rug is wool. I am aware that the new acrylics, especially the ones from Italy are much better than synthetic rugs used to be, but wool is still my favorite material for rugs. . . . . If you are thinking of this, I should point out that the colors are actually brighter than they look in the photo. Also the background is less green and more of a federal blue. This rug is obviously not to everyones taste and I am rather surprised that I bought it myself. . . . . That said it goes a long way to brightening up a dull space and at least on my floor, didn't even need anti-skid padding. . . . . Update: Having lived with this rug for a while, I still like it a lot. I have received a lot of compliments about its appearance. HOWEVER, and it is kind of a big however, the wool in the rug is a very soft yarn and since this is a hooked rug and not a knotted rug the wool pills. Or more accurately I have to vacuum big fuzz balls up on a regular basis. I plan on keeping the carpet, though eventually if I can find another rug in the same palette that has an equally impactful design I will retire this carpet regardless of how much I like it.

Absolutely Gorgeous!

This rug is absolutely gorgeous! The colors are true to the depiction in the photograph on the website. The quality is excellent for the price, this rug is very well made. The flowers on the print are very large, and tropical, so if you like that style, this rug is for you. You also have many choices for color coordinating furniture, and accessories.
