Not soft! Like sitting in a bed of cactus!

Not soft at all. When you sit on it, it’s like sitting on a bed of cactus. It is very uncomfortable and painful. We’ve tried vacuuming it daily to see if that would help but nothing has helped. My husband threw away the bag already so we can’t even return it. Will be throwing it away because can’t imagine donating something so painful to an unexpecting person. We got the 9x12 rug.

Looks great, sheds a lot

Rug looks great. I ignored the shedding reviews thinking I will vacuum it enough to alleviate the shedding. Not possible, we vacuumed several times a day for the first several weeks, then several times a week for 6+ months, it’s still shedding, only looks nice for a day or so after vacuuming.

Great looks, quality?

The rug looks great and feels wonderful under foot. The issue is that I accidentally spilled a bit of my plain drinking water on it and there is a dark spot. Not sure if the backing colour leaked through? It was about a tablespoon of plain water and now I stare at this dirty looking spot. Disappointing!

Beautiful!! A little tricky to keep clean.

I bought this rug and then purchased a replacement after two years because I couldn’t get the white to come clean. After the new one came in, I took the old one and decided I would try to pressure wash it. Let’s just say I would not recommend it, unless you want the white part to be a dark tan. Ha ha still beautiful in both colors.

Looks like photo

The rug is wool so it looks very dirty right out the box, it sheds so much that my vacuum is full after one use. I spilled the ice from a small cup of water and the black color bled into the white so now I have a blue spot on my new rug it’s also snagged in a couple spots already I believe it’s just the wool. Looks like the photo though. Wish I was able to return as I did purchase the warranty and everything with the hopes of this being my long term rug but in order to return this rug I would have to pay $47 for shipping.

Beautiful rug but poor quality

It’s a beautiful rug and initially when I bought it, the rug was very full and thick. Every time I vacuum this rug, my canister is overflowing with shedding fibers from this rug. I can dump the canister and start over again, and the same exact thing. I’m in complete disbelief that such an expensive rug can have such poor quality. There’s also lots of fraying in this rug and I’m starting to see bald spots. I don’t believe this rug will last very long and I am extremely disappointed.

Beautiful but sheds

I've had this rug for nearly a year now. Visually, I am in love with it. I was happy that the white is more of an ivory or very light creamy color. It's nice and heavy so it feels durable. But it sheds really badly. It makes us nervous to vacuum it because the fibers pull up. This is particularly frustrating as it attracts every piece of fuzz and cat hair imaginable. My husband hates it and desperately wants me to replace it. I would still recommend it, because it is truly beautiful, but leave it in a room that does not get a lot of traffic.

I ordered the 9x12 blue rug. At first I loved this rug. The blue is a nice deep vibrant color. I was rather disappointed that the color is more cream than white. Nice thickness to walk on in the bedroom. It has a nice backing and a quality finish on the edging. It is wool, so you will need to vacuum A LOT and FREQUENTLY; this is normal for any new wool rug and I expected this.

Beautiful, but not good for cats

Not for cat owners! That being said, I do love this rug, especially for the price. Reading other reviews, I was worried this wouldn't be soft enough for my sensitive skin, but it doesn't bother me. I also was confused what people meant when they complained about the shedding- until I vacuumed it. It completely filled the canister with fibers. I also see undisturbed areas of the room quickly collecting the fibers, like under chairs or the couch. It probably wouldn't be an issue if this was going over carpet. I did not, however, realize that this rug is a "looped" weave, which my cat is completely destroying. She barely ever scratches the rug, but when she does, it's immediately obvious. I would not recommend this rug if your cat has claws!
